The Colts signed Ronnie Harrison Jr. to their practice squad and then 53-man roster with the plan of converting him to linebacker. In Week 17, he moved back to his natural position – safety – to give the Colts a much-needed veteran presence on the back end of their defense. 

This season, the Colts have overcome a 3-5 start to the season, a flurry of injuries and roster turnover to be one win away from securing a playoff spot.

At 8-7, the Colts hold the seventh seed in the AFC. If they win their final two games, they will clinch a playoff spot.

The Colts on Tuesday placed safety Julian Blackmon on injured reserve, ending his regular season. 

Taylor was listed as a full participant in his first full practice since undergoing surgery on a ligament in his thumb following the Colts' Week 12 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

When injuries took Moss and Pittman out of the Colts Week 15 game, the Colts called upon wide receiver D.J. Montgomery and running backs Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson to fill their spots. The trio combined for 215 scrimmage yards.

Saturday previously said he intends to interview for the Colts' head coaching job this offseason. But he won't begin prepping for that interview until the 2022 season is over. 

Patmon played for Leach at Washington State from 2016-2019. Leach, whose offensive philosophies revolutionized college football, passed away earlier this month. 

Nick Foles will start for the Colts on Monday night against the Los Angeles Chargers, interim head coach Jeff Saturday announced on Wednesday. 

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor said Wednesday he's taken away many valuable lessons so far throughout the 2022 season, but knows the team can still do some damage in its final four-game stretch, starting Saturday at the Minnesota Vikings.

Colts interim head coach Jeff Saturday said Tuesday he plans to pursue the team's full-time position this offseason if given the chance.

Pierce has four catches for 51 yards over his last four games, but is still showing signs of progress despite the lack of production, wide receivers coach Reggie Wayne explained.

For the first time since sustaining an ankle injury in Week 4, Taylor fully participated in practice on Thursday. 

The Colts did have a package of plays for Ehlinger in Week 6, his first as the team's backup quarterback this season, but didn't have an opportunity to use them. 

The Colts have already got major contributions from rookies like Alec Pierce, Jelani Woods and Rodney Thomas II, and will continue to lean on a number of first-year players during the 2022 season. 

Raimann made his first career start in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos, and head coach Frank Reich said Wednesday the Colts' plan is for the 2022 third-round pick to continue starting at left tackle going forward. 

Taylor sustained an ankle injury during the Colts' Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans and said Tuesday he's doing everything he can to get on the field Thursday night in Denver. 

The 2022 second-round pick has seven catches on 13 targets for 141 yards over his last two games. 

Leonard has missed the first three games of the 2022 season. 

We'll know more about Shaquille Leonard and Michael Pittman Jr.'s statuses for Week 3 on Friday. 

The Colts hit the practice field on Wednesday with urgency, not panic, following last week's shutout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
