Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (neck) was a full participant in practice on Thursday ahead of the Colts' Week 16 game against the San Francisco 49ers, while cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) and tackle Bernhard Raimann (elbow) did not participate in practice. Quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. (eye) returned as a limited participant – the Colts opened his 21-day window to be activated from injured reserve on Thursday – as did safety Daniel Scott (knee), whose practice window was also opened.

"He still has some vision limitations in his eye so we're going to get him back on the practice field, get him throwing some scout team," head coach Shane Steichen said of Richardson. "It's good to get him back out there."

Steichen said Richardson would not be available for Monday night's game against the 49ers.

Buckner was a limited participant in all three Week 15 practices but was ruled out for last Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. He still must be activated from injured reserve in order to play this weekend.

As for Gardner and Raimann, Steichen said both players are progressing well through their respective injuries. Gardner sustained his injury early in the Colts' Week 13 game against the Houston Texans and has not participated in practice since. Raimann sustained his injury in the first half of Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Wide receiver Alec Pierce was a limited participant with an Achilles injury.

The Indianapolis Colts begin practice on Thursday at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center, preparing to face the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night at Lucas Oil Stadium.
