Two Colts starters who did not play in Week 4 due to injuries returned to practice Wednesday at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center in right guard Matt Goncalves (toe) and wide receiver Alec Pierce (concussion).

Head coach Shane Steichen said Wednesday morning Pierce has not yet cleared concussion protocol. Pierce sustained a concussion when he went up to try to catch a deep ball in the third quarter of the Colts' Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium.

Pierce was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, while Goncalves was a limited participant.

Cornerback Kenny Moore II (Achilles) did not participate in practice on Wednesday. Moore sustained an Achilles' injury early in the fourth quarter of Week 3, did not participate in practice last week and did not play in the Colts' Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

Linebacker Zaire Franklin (ankle), running back Tyler Goodson (groin), cornerback Xavien Howard (personal) and safety Daniel Scott (knee) also did not participate in Wednesday's practice at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center.
