Wide receiver Alec Pierce (concussion) and cornerback Kenny Moore II (Achilles) did not participate in the Colts' Wednesday practice before their Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.
Pierce sustained a concussion in the third quarter of the Colts' Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans and is in concussion protocol.
Moore left the game with what was originally believed to be a calf injury in the beginning of the fourth quarter and was quickly ruled out. On Wednesday, head coach Shane Steichen said he does not have a timetable on the Pro Bowler's return and that after further testing it was discovered Moore's injury is "a little more in the Achilles."
"With any injury, obviously we rely on the trainers and the doctors, I think that's a big part of it, and the rehab process that we go through," Steichen said. "And relying on the player too, and how he feels. Obviously we'll go through the rehab and run him and work him out and stuff, and see where it's at. Like I said, rely on him and the trainers and the doctors for that stuff."
When asked if moving Moore to injured reserve was a possibility, Steichen said "not right now."
Guard Matt Goncalves (toe), defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (back) and cornerback Xavien Howard (rest) also did not participate in practice on Wednesday.
