Appeared in 41 total games (30 starts) at SMU (2019-20) and Rice (2016-17) and recorded 129 receptions for 1,879 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Holds the SMU school record for the most career receiving touchdowns (14) by a tight end.
Finished his career at SMU second in receptions (78) and receiving yards (1,257) by a tight end.
In 2020, he earned First Team All-AAC honors and was named to Dave Campbell's All-Texas College Second Team.

His nine receiving touchdowns were the 10th-most in a single season in school history.

2018:

Sat out the 2018 season due to NCAA transfer rules.

2017:

As a sophomore at Rice, he appeared in 10 games (five starts) and recorded 18 receptions for 241 yards as well as six carries for 51 yards.

2016:

Competed in eight games (two starts) as a true freshman and accumulated 33 receptions for a team-high 381 yards and two touchdowns. Also contributed 41 yards on four carries.
His 33 receptions ranked second on the team.

PERSONAL:

Attended Westlake High School in Austin, Texas and tallied 48 receptions for 739 yards and 11 touchdowns during his career.
As a senior, he earned second team all-district honors after he recorded 39 receptions for 630 yards and 10 touchdowns while also rushing for 100 yards after missing the first seven games of the season.
Qualified for regionals in the 4x200 relay in track.
Garnered academic all-state honorable mention honors.
Was a member of FCA and the National Honor Society.
Held the last name of Skonning until his senior season, when he took the last name of his stepdad, David Granson.
