CAREER TRANSACTIONS:

Selected by the Colts in the third round (73rd overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.

COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS:

After transferring from Oklahoma State, he competed in 11 games (10 starts) at Virginia (2021) and registered 44 receptions for 598 yards and eight touchdowns.
Appeared in 34 games (28 starts) at Oklahoma State (2017-20) and compiled 31 receptions for 361 yards and four touchdowns.
Named a First Team All-ACC selection in 2021.
Garnered All-Big 12 honorable mention accolades in three seasons (2018-20).
In 2021, he led all ACC tight ends in receiving yards (598) and touchdown receptions (eight).
Ranked fourth in the country in touchdown receptions (eight) among tight ends in 2021.
Transitioned to tight end from quarterback after redshirting the 2017 season.

2021:

Saw action in 11 games (10 starts) at Virginia and tallied 44 receptions for 598 yards and eight touchdowns.
Named a First Team All-ACC selection.
Led all ACC tight ends in receiving yards and touchdown receptions.
Ranked fourth in the country in touchdown receptions among tight ends.
His eight touchdown receptions rank second in single-season school history (Heath Miller – nine).
In a win against Illinois, he recorded five receptions for a single-game career-high 122 yards and one touchdown. His 122 receiving yards were the most by a Virginia tight end since 2005.
Registered a touchdown reception in five consecutive games (9/11-10/16).

2020:

Appeared in 10 games (nine starts) and accumulated eight receptions for 129 yards and one touchdown.
Named an All-Big 12 honorable mention selection.
In a win vs. Iowa State, he tallied single-season career highs in receptions (three), receiving yards (54) and touchdowns (one).
Earned Academic Second Team All-Big 12 honors.

2019:

Saw action in all 13 games (12 starts) and recorded 16 receptions for 112 yards and one touchdown.
Garnered All-Big 12 honorable mention accolades.
Helped pave the way for running back Chuba Hubbard, who led the FBS in rushing yards and was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.

2018:

As a redshirt freshman, he appeared in 11 games (seven starts) and compiled seven receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns.
Named an All-Big 12 honorable mention selection.
Five of his seven receptions resulted in first downs.
Averaged 17.1 yards per reception.

2017:

Redshirted the season and transitioned from quarterback to tight end.

PERSONAL:

Attended Cedar Grove High School and played quarterback.
As a senior, he led Cedar Grove to its first state championship and a 13-2 overall record after he threw for 2,316 yards and 26 touchdowns. They defeated current Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills and Greater Atlanta Christian in the title game.
In 2016, he was named an all-state honorable mention selection and was a first team all-region selection.
In 2015, he threw for 1,992 yards and 20 touchdowns with only six interceptions.
Competed in the 2022 East-West Shrine Bowl.
Received Division I offers in basketball before choosing football.
Ranked as the No. 20 dual-threat quarterback prospect by Rivals.
Majored in management at Oklahoma State.
