COLLEGE:
Saw action in 23 games (21 starts) at Austin Peay (2017-18) and tallied 61 receptions for 1,025 yards and 13 touchdowns as well as eight carries for 31 yards. Prior to Austin Peay, he attended Holmes Community College.
In 2018, he started all 11 games and recorded 42 receptions for 797 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also contributed four carries for four yards. Montgomery became only the fourth player in school history to have at least 10 receiving touchdowns in a single season.
As a junior, he appeared in 12 games (10 starts) and registered 19 receptions for 228 yards and three touchdowns as well as four carries for 27 yards.
In 2017 at Holmes Community College, he accumulated a team-high 36 receptions for 991 yards and 10 touchdowns.
As a freshman, he tallied 11 receptions for 291 yards and two touchdowns.
PERSONAL:
Attended Madison Central (Miss.) High School.
As a senior, he compiled 12 receptions for 280 yards and three touchdowns.
Also competed in basketball.
His cousin, Cleo Lemon, was an undrafted free agent quarterback who spent time in the NFL from 2001-09.
