• Claimed by the Browns off waivers (Minnesota) on August 31, 2022.
• Waived by the Minnesota Vikings on August 30, 2022.
• Selected by the Vikings in the third round (66th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft.

• Spent the entire season on the Browns active roster, but did not see game action.

2021 (VIKINGS):

• Competed in one game and completed 2-of-3 passes for five yards.

COLLEGE:

• Saw action in 47 games (44 starts) at Texas A&M and completed 801-of-1,358 passes for 9,661 yards and 71 touchdowns with 27 interceptions. He also added 438 carries for 1,608 yards and 22 touchdowns. He became one of three players in SEC history to throw for more than 9,000 yards and rush for more than 1,500 (Tim Tebow, Dak Prescott). Ranks seventh all-time in SEC history in total offense (11,269).
• He holds all-time Texas A&M records for passing yards, passing touchdowns, completions, attempts and total offense.
• As a senior, he started all 10 games he saw action in and completed 188-of-297 passes for 2,282 yards and 19 touchdowns with three interceptions. Also compiled 74 carries for 294 yards and four touchdowns.
• In 2019, he started all 13 games and completed 258-of-419 passes for 2,897 yards and 20 touchdowns with nine interceptions. He added single-season career highs in rushing yards (500) and rushing touchdowns (eight) on 126 carries.
• As a sophomore, he started all 13 games and completed 238-of-415 passes for a single-season career-high 3,107 yards and 24 touchdowns with nine interceptions. Compiled 149 carries for 474 yards and seven touchdowns. Against Clemson, he completed 23-of-40 passes for a single-game career-high 430 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.
• In 2017, he appeared in 11 games (eight starts) and completed 117-of-227 passes for 1,375 yards and eight touchdowns with six interceptions as well as 89 carries for 340 yards and three touchdowns.

PERSONAL:

• Attended IMG Academy for his senior season after transferring from Reagan High School in San Antonio.
• As a senior, he was an Under Armour All-America selection and set single-season records for passing touchdowns and rushing touchdowns at IMG. He threw for 1,936 yards and 20 touchdowns as well as rushed for 775 yards and 18 touchdowns.
• Ranked as the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback by Rivals.
• He was named the district's offensive MVP as a junior after he passed for 1,991 yards and 26 touchdowns.
• Named the Reese's Senior Bowl MVP.
• His father, Kevin, served eight years in the U.S. Army.
