In 2014, he was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten after he appeared in 11 games (10 starts) at left tackle and allowed 2.0 sacks in 689 snaps. He was a part of an offensive line unit that helped set a program single-season rushing record with 3,163 yards (263.6 yards per game).
As a sophomore, he started all 12 games at left tackle and was part of an offensive group that set numerous Indiana single-season records with 508.5 total yards per game, 38.4 points per game, 36 passing touchdowns and 62 total touchdowns. Named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten.
In 2012, he was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten after he started all 12 games and allowed just 2.0 sacks in 961 snaps. He was part of an offensive line that finished second in the Big Ten in total offense (442.0 yards per game). Named to the BTN All-Freshman Team.
