COLLEGE:
Played in 32 games (19 starts) at USC (2018-21) and compiled 80 tackles (54 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, nine passes defensed and two interceptions.
As a redshirt junior, he saw action in 11 games (10 starts) and registered 39 tackles (25 solo), four passes defensed and one interception.
In 2020, he appeared in six games (one start) and tallied five tackles (two solo).
As a redshirt freshman, he played in 12 games (eight starts) and finished with 36 tackles (27 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, five passes defensed and one interception.
In 2018, he saw action in three games and earned a redshirt.
PERSONAL:
Attended Helix High School in La Mesa (Calif.). As a senior in 2017, he registered 77 tackles, 18 passes defensed, six interceptions and two fumble recoveries (one returned for a touchdown). He also compiled 37 carries for 422 yards (11.4 avg) and eight touchdowns, 15 receptions for 212 yards (14.4 avg) and two touchdowns, and four kickoff returns for 65 yards (16.3 avg).
Earned numerous honors, including 2017 USA Today All-USA first-team, Prep Star Dream Team, Max Preps All-American second-team, Orange County Register Fab 15 first-team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, USA Today All-California first-team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State second-team and All-CIF San Diego first-team.
Prior to La Mesa, he spent three years (2014-16) at St. Augustine High School in San Diego (Calif.), where he garnered Cal-Hi Sports All-State Junior first-team and All-CIF San Diego first-team honors in 2016.
At St. Augustine, he totaled 134 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, 33 passes defensed, seven interceptions, one fumble recovery and one blocked field goal. He also added nine receptions for 109 yards and one touchdown, 69 carries for 645 yards and seven touchdowns and 11 kickoff returns for 371 yards and one touchdown.
Also was a member of St. Augustine's track team and participated in 100 meters, 200 meters, long jump and triple jump.
