Appeared in 15 games (two starts) in 2022 and compiled 25 receptions for 312 yards and three touchdowns. In Week 3 vs. Kansas City, he caught two touchdowns and became the first Colts rookie tight end to register two receiving touchdowns in a single game since John Mackey in 1963. In Week 12 vs. Pittsburgh, he tallied single-game career highs in receptions (eight) and receiving yards (98). He recorded the second-most receptions in a single game by an Indianapolis rookie tight end (Charles Arbuckle – nine in Week 13 of 1992). Woods registered the most receiving yards by a Colts rookie tight end since Dallas Clark in Week 11 of 2003 (100). In Week 16 vs. Los Angeles, he paced the team in receiving with 43 yards on three receptions.

After transferring from Oklahoma State, he competed in 11 games (10 starts) at Virginia (2021) and registered 44 receptions for 598 yards and eight touchdowns.
Appeared in 34 games (28 starts) at Oklahoma State (2017-20) and compiled 31 receptions for 361 yards and four touchdowns.
In 2021, he earned First Team All-ACC honors after he saw action in 11 games (10 starts) at Virginia and tallied 44 receptions for 598 yards and eight touchdowns. Led all ACC tight ends in receiving yards and touchdown receptions, while also ranking fourth in the country in touchdown receptions among tight ends.
Appeared in 10 games (nine starts) in 2020 and accumulated eight receptions for 129 yards and one touchdown. Named an All-Big 12 honorable mention selection and was also chosen to the Academic Second Team All-Big 12. In a win vs. Iowa State, he tallied single-season career highs in receptions (three), receiving yards (54) and touchdowns (one).
In 2019, he earned All-Big 12 honorable mention accolades after he saw action in all 13 games (12 starts) and recorded 16 receptions for 112 yards and one touchdown. Helped pave the way for running back Chuba Hubbard, who led the FBS in rushing yards and was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.
As a redshirt freshman, he appeared in 11 games (seven starts) and compiled seven receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Named an All-Big 12 honorable mention selection.

PERSONAL:
Attended Cedar Grove (Ga.) High School and played quarterback.
As a senior, he led Cedar Grove to its first state championship and a 13-2 overall record after he threw for 2,316 yards and 26 touchdowns. They defeated current Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills and Greater Atlanta Christian in the title game.
In 2016, he was named an all-state honorable mention selection and was a first team all-region selection.
In 2015, he threw for 1,992 yards and 20 touchdowns with only six interceptions.
Competed in the 2022 East-West Shrine Bowl.
Received Division I offers in basketball before choosing football.
