Warren's impressive preseason debut last week was nothing new for coaches and teammates, who've seen the 2025 first-round pick 

Anthony Richardson exited the Colts' preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens after just seven snaps with a dislocated pinkie, giving way to Daniel Jones, who played 31 snaps to finish the first half. The story of the game outside of the Colts' quarterbacks, though, was an impressive preseason debut for rookie first-round tight end Tyler Warren. 

The Colts' 2025 rookie class got its first taste of training camp with four non-padded practices last week. Among the first-year standouts from that stretch were first-round tight end Tyler Warren and third-round cornerback Justin Walley. 

Warren went through his first few practices as a member of the Colts last weekend during rookie minicamp. 

Warren spent all five years of his college career at Penn State, staying patient and working hard to earn his opportunity.

Steichen on Saturday explained what he believes first-round tight end Tyler Warren can do in the Colts' offense in 2025. 

Warren is the first tight end the Colts have selected in the first round of an NFL Draft since Dallas Clark in 2003.

Warren caught 104 passes for 1,233 yards with eight touchdowns in 2024 at Penn State.
