Colts head coach Shane Steichen on Thursday announced his team voted five players to be season-long captains in 2026: safety Cam Bynum, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, quarterback Daniel Jones, guard Quenton Nelson and running back Jonathan Taylor.

Daniel Jones and Tyrese Haliburton were team captains for the Pacers Foundation Charity Softball Classic at the Indianapolis Indians' Victory Field in downtown Indianapolis. Both teams had a mixture of Colts and Pacers players in a 6 inning softball game.
