Today's Top 10 photo gallery is all about training camp and the first day of pads! Today was our fourth day of camp and the first day the players practiced in pads with full contact! For most football fans, watching football is all about the contact...that's what made today so exciting. You could tell that the players were really amped up and ready to make that first hit. By default, I was also ready to capture that first big hit. The only problem was that the "first hits" were happening all over the field in different position drills. So, I made my way around the perimeter of the field with my 400mm lens capturing all of the action I could. It was an overcast day, which is the best condition for photography, so I was in photography bliss for about three hours! I choose some of my favorite images from the afternoon practice for this gallery.
