QB-PEYTON MANNING (on looking at the big picture so early in the season) Wednesday, September 14, 2005
"I think you have to. (Head) Coach (Tony) Dungy really points out those things. It's good for the young guys to realize how important a game two is. A week two game could be the most important game of the season, and that's the emphasis we are putting on this game from the start."

QB-PEYTON MANNING (on watching the Colts defense vs. Baltimore) Wednesday, September 14, 2005
"It was exciting. I did enjoy watching that Sunday night. A lot of times you are on the sidelines making adjustments, but once we finished those, it was fun to watch them get after Baltimore's offense and creating turnovers and making big hits. It's a team thing. LB-Gary Brackett got [AFC] Defensive Player-of-the-Week, which is well deserved. It is exciting seeing the whole team really involved, and everybody supporting each other."
QB-PEYTON MANNING (on Head Coach Tony Dungy's extension) Wednesday, September 14, 2005
"I'm very happy about that. It's well deserved. It's nice to see that kind of commitment. He's our head coach and he's our leader, and I am very happy for him and the organization as well."
