INDIANAPOLIS - The Colts are beginning their 25th preseason in Indianapolis a week earlier than normal.

They're beginning training camp a few days early, too.

The Colts, entering their 56th season in the National Football League and 25th in Indianapolis, officially will open training camp on Thursday, July 24 at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana.

The full squad reon July 24 and begins practice the following day.

The Colts typically report to camp on a Sunday, with practice starting on a Monday, but because they are participating in the Hall of Fame Game the week before most teams begin the preseason, they will report to camp three days earlier than normal.

The Colts will play the Washington Redskins in the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, on Sunday, August 3.

The Colts will train at the Rose-Hulman until the break of camp on Friday, August 15, when they establish operations again in Indianapolis.

All practices in Terre Haute are open to the public free of charge.
