With the win against the Broncos today the Colts clinched homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. FOURTH QUARTER (2:29 remaining)Colts tight end Dallas Clark caught a pass short right from Peyton Manning for a touchdown.  On the Broncos next possession quarterback Kyle Orton was sacked by Dwight Freeney for a loss of 8.  Unable to convert on 4th and 18 the ball was turned over on downs. COLTS 28, BRONCOS 16 FOURTH QUARTER (9:44 remaining)Denver wide receiver Brandon Marshall caught a five-yard touchdown pass – his 20th reception of the game, tying the NFL's all-time record – to bring the Broncos within a score.

The Colts stopped the Broncos short on their two-point conversion attempt, plugging the middle and stopping their rush before the goal line. COLTS 21, BRONCOS 16 FOURTH QUARTER (14:50 remaining)A turnover set the Broncos up with great field position, but the Colts defense came up with another timely stop. The pass rush forced Orton to throw the ball out-of-bounds on third down and Denver was forced to settle for a 28-yard field-goal attempt, which they converted. COLTS 21, BRONCOS 10 END OF THIRD QUARTER – COLTS 21, BRONCOS 7The Broncos missed a field goal with a minute left in the quarter, but a Colts interception gave the Broncos back the ball quickly. As the quarter comes to a close, Denver faces third down from Indy's 10.THIRD QUARTER (4:33 remaining)The Broncos drove the ball inside Indianapolis' red zone, but cornerback Tim Jennings intercepted a third-down pass of Orton's intended for the end zone. Jennings returned the ball to Indy's 14 before being tackled.THIRD QUARTER (9:11 remaining)The Colts defense came up with another critical stop. Linebacker Gary Brackett sacked Orton on third down, pushing the Broncos out of field-goal range and forcing them to punt. Indianapolis will take over on offense from their own 11.THIRD QUARTER (13:40 remaining)After electing to receive the opening kick-off, the Colts started on defense in the second half. But Indy forced the Broncos three-and-out once again, and Denver was forced to punt. Punt returner T.J. Rushing called for a fair catch on Mitch Berger's punt and the Colts will take over from their own 19.HALFTIME – COLTS 21, BRONCOS 7As the first half comes to a close, the Colts lead by 14, but the Broncos are charging. Manning threw three touchdowns in the first half to lead the way and running back Joseph Addai rushed the ball 10 times for 50 yards. Linebacker Gary Brackett leads the defense with eight tackles.  SECOND QUARTER (2:23 remaining)The Broncos scored their first touchdown of the game on a five-yard pass from quarterback Kyle Orton to wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Denver went 80 yards in 12 plays for the score. COLTS 21, BRONCOS 7 SECOND QUARTER (7:58 remaining)The Colts' offense continues to fire on all cylinders. After the defense forced the Broncos to punt for the second time this afternoon, the Colts mounted their third touchdown drive of the half. Manning led the offense on an 11-play 71-yard drive capped off with a one-yard touchdown pass to Clark, his second TD of the game. COLTS 21, BRONCOS 0 END OF FIRST QUARTER - COLTS 14, BRONCOS 0 FIRST QUARTER (1:45 remaining)The Colts defense came up with yet another fourth-down stop. On third down, rookie cornerback Jacob Lacey stopped Denver wide receiver Eddie Royal short of the first-down marker, and the Broncos elected to go for it on 4th-and-1 from Indy's 41. But Colts linebacker Gary Brackett tackled Denver's Knowshon Moreno behind the line-of-scrimmage, resulting in a turnover on downs.FIRST QUARTER (5:04 remaining)After forcing the Denver Broncos three-and-out, Manning and the offense scored their second touchdown of the quarter. The Colts ran six plays before tight end Dallas Clark caught a 10-yard in the end zone for the touchdown.

Through two drives, Manning has completed 11 of 14 passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns. COLTS 14, BRONCOS 0 FIRST QUARTER (9:06 remaining)
Like so many games this season, the Colts started today's game with a touchdown drive. Quarterback Peyton Manning orchestrated an 80-yard scoring drive, which started with a 29-yard reception to wide receiver Pierre Garcon and ended with a five-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Austin Collie. COLTS 7, BRONCOS 0
