Colts sign LB Anthony Walker Jr. to practice squad, release DT Josh Tupou from practice squad

The Colts made the roster move on Monday.

Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Colts today signed linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. to the practice squad and released defensive tackle Josh Tupou from the practice squad.

Walker Jr., 6-1, 235 pounds, has played in 99 career games (83 starts) in his time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2025), Miami Dolphins (2024), Cleveland Browns (2021-23) and Colts (2017-20). He has compiled 571 tackles (353 solo), 26.0 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, 21 passes defensed, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and 10 special teams stops. Walker Jr. has started three postseason contests and has tallied 12 tackles (seven solo) and 1.0 tackle for loss. He was originally selected by Indianapolis in the fifth round (161st overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Northwestern.

Tupou, 6-3, 340 pounds, was signed by Indianapolis as a free agent on July 28, 2025. He has played in 68 career games (23 starts) in his time with the Colts (2025), Baltimore Ravens (2024) and Cincinnati Bengals (2017-23). Tupou has compiled 89 tackles (42 solo), 7.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks and one forced fumble.
