The Colts on Saturday signed wide receiver Laquon Treadwell to the 53-man roster from the practice squad. The Colts also elevated defensive end Durell Nchami and defensive tackle Tim Smith to the active roster from the practice squad for Week 10.

On Friday, the Colts announced defensive tackle DeForest Buckner would be placed on injured reserve with a neck injury; he will miss at least the Colts' next four games and will be eligible to return in Week 15, as the Colts have a bye week in Week 11. In his 10 years in the NFL, Buckner has only missed six games due to injury to this point.

On Friday, the Colts also ruled out defensive ends Samson Ebukam (knee) and Tyquan Lewis (groin); on Saturday, wide receiver Anthony Gould (knee) was downgraded from questionable to out.

In a corresponding move, Treadwell was signed to the Colts' 53-man roster. Treadwell, a 10-year veteran, has appeared in four games since joining the Colts in 2024 but has not recorded any statistics. This season, Treadwell was elevated for the Colts' Week 7 and Week 9 games. In his career, Treadwell has appeared in 85 games (24 starts) and recorded 111 receptions for 1,242 yards and five touchdowns.

The Colts on Saturday also elevated Nchami and Smith to the active roster from the practice squad for their Week 10 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Nchami has spent the season on the Colts practice squad and was elevated for Weeks 8 and 9. Smith, the Colts' 2025 sixth-round pick, has also been a member of the practice squad all season; this is the first time he has been elevated for a game.
