INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Colts have signed LB-Gary Brackett,
the club announced today. Brackett has played 2003-09 with the
club, starting for the last five seasons. The defensive team
captain who joined the Colts as an undrafted free agent has totaled
674 career tackles, eleven interceptions, five forced fumbles and
three recovered fumbles. He has topped 100 tackles in each of the
past five years, including a career-best 149 in 2007. He had 115
tackles in 2009, ranking second on the team. Brackett has started
73 of 103 career regular-season appearances, along with 10 of 14
career playoff outings.
