It was a chance for NFL rookies to start marketing themselves off the field and a chance for marketers to engage with some of the NFL's up and coming stars.
On May 17-20, the NFL Players Association hosted its 24th annual NFLPA Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles. More than 30 of the NFLPA's business partners were invited to participate along with 40 NFL rookies, including Colts players Nyheim Hines and Reece Fountain.
Over the weekend, they unveiled their official Nike jerseys, did photo and video shoots, and created their official rookie trading cards with Panini America.
"Beyond providing a platform to learn about the business of football and benefits of their union as they plan for their new careers, Rookie Premiere allows players to showcase their personalities so that we can use that insight to connect the right players with the right brands to advance their stories and campaigns," said Ahmad Nassar, President of NFL Players Inc.
