INJURY UPDATES, CHIP VAUGHN PLACED ON IR, SIGN FA AFALAVA
The club has announced that defensive back Bob Sanders (biceps) and wide receiver Austin Collie will be out this week against San Diego. Collie will be held out as a precautionary measure. After being cleared medically to participate at New England, he encountered symptoms from his previous injury at Philadelphia (concussion), though there was no recurrence at New England. Running back Joseph Addai will progress to practice this week for conditioning purposes. Addai will participate in non-contact drills only, and a timetable for a full return to action is uncertain.
