Colts QBs Unitas, Manning Ranked in Top 10
NFL Network aired its series finale of The Top 100: NFL's Greatest Players on Thursday night. Featured in the finale, produced by NFL Films, and being named among the Top 10 greatest NFL players of all-time: Colts quarterbacks John Unitas and Peyton Manning.

Unitas was ranked No. 6 overall, while Manning was listed at No. 8, the highest ranking among active NFL players. The only other quarterback named to the Top 10 was Joe Montana, who was listed at No. 4.

The series, consisting of 10 one-hour episodes, revealed the greatest players of all-time, counting down from 100 to one. The player rankings were determined by a panel consisting of former NFL coaches, players and front office personnel, as well as noted NFL media members, Hall of Fame voters and league historians.

Overall, seven Colts players most known for their time with the franchise were named to the list. That ranked tied for the second-most players by any NFL team. Only the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys had more with eight.

No. 8 – Peyton Manning, QB

No. 32 – Jim Parker, OT

No. 36 – Raymond Berry, WR

No. 39 – Gino Marchetti, DE

No. 42 – John Mackey, TE

No. 94 – Lenny Moore, RB
