Colts elevate LB Austin Ajiake, RB Ulysses Bentley IV to active roster from practice squad for Week 1

Indianapolis The Indianapolis Colts today elevated linebacker Austin Ajiake and running back Ulysses Bentley IV to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Ajiake, 6-1, 223 pounds, was originally signed to the team's practice squad on December 28, 2023. In 2024, he spent most of the season on the Indianapolis practice squad. As a rookie in 2023, Ajiake spent time on the practice squads of the Colts, Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders. He participated in training camp with the Denver Broncos after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent on August 3, 2023. His last name is pronounced AH-gee-kay.

Bentley IV, 5-10, 200 pounds, was originally signed by the team as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2025. Collegiately, he played in 57 career games (16 starts) at Mississippi (2022-24) and SMU (2019-21) and registered 468 carries for 2,591 yards (5.5 avg.) and 28 touchdowns. Bentley IV totaled 66 receptions for 484 yards (7.3 avg.) and three touchdowns. He also contributed 19 kickoff returns for 410 yards (21.6 avg.).
