Colts elevate CB Mike Hilton, G Josh Sills to active roster from practice squad for Week 4

Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Colts today elevated cornerback Mike Hilton and guard Josh Sills to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Hilton, 5-9, 184 pounds, was signed to the team's practice squad on September 23, 2025. He has played in 123 career games (56 starts) in his time with the Miami Dolphins (2025), Cincinnati Bengals (2021-24), Pittsburgh Steelers (2016-20), New England Patriots (2016) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2016). Hilton has totaled 506 tackles (386 solo), 66.0 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, 56 passes defensed, 13 interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), four forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries and 14 special teams stops. He has appeared in nine postseason contests (four starts) and has registered 30 tackles (22 solo), 3.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, six passes defensed, one interception and two special teams stops. Hilton was originally signed by the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2016, out of Mississippi.

Sills, 6-6, 325 pounds, was originally claimed by Indianapolis off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles on August 30, 2023. He has played in 18 career games. Sills spent time on the Colts' active roster and practice squad last season but did not see game action. In 2023, he saw action in all 17 games for Indianapolis. As a rookie in 2022, Sills appeared in one game with the Eagles after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2022, out of Oklahoma State.
