Colts Continue "Light the Town Blue" Campaign This Week

Free Events, Commemorative Poster Offered to Fans

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts have advanced to the divisional round of the 2013 NFL Playoffs and will continue their "Light the Town Blue" campaign this week with several events and a special edition playoff poster. In addition, fans are encouraged to wear blue all week and decorate their home and offices with blue lights.

This week's events will include a Community Day at the Eiteljorg Museum, Indiana Blood Center blood drives, drive-thru poster passouts at Meijer, a Blue Friday at Circle Centre Mall and the team's official playoff party at Latitude 39. "LIGHT THE TOWN BLUE" COMMUNITY DAY (JANUARY 9, 2014)

The Colts are teaming up with the Eiteljorg Museum to host a "Light the Town Blue" Community Day at the Museum on Thursday, January 9. Event elements will include free blue glow necklaces and Colts playoff posters, while supplies last, special appearances by Colts Cheerleaders and much more! All attendees are encouraged to wear blue.

"LIGHT THE TOWN BLUE" BLOOD DRIVE (JANUARY 10, 2014)

Indiana Blood Center will be handing out playoff posters at all mobile drives and at all donor centers from Thursday through Saturday. The non-profit has had limited operations since Sunday; to ensure that hospitals around the state have the blood components needed to treat their patients, it is imperative that blood collections be strong on these days. Reserve your poster by making an appointment at indianablood.org.

 

PLAYOFF POSTER DRIVE-THRUS (JANUARY 10, 2014)

On Friday, January 10, the Colts will host morning drive-thru poster pass-outs at four (4) Meijer locations throughout Central Indiana. From 7-8 a.m. individuals can drive-thru and pick up a special edition Colts Divisional Round Playoff poster.

BLUE FRIDAY PEP RALLY (FRIDAY JANUARY 10, 2014)

The Colts will host a playoff-themed Blue Friday Pep Rally at the Circle Centre Mall food court in Downtown Indianapolis on January 10. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. fans are encouraged to stop by to pick up a special edition Colts playoff poster, and listen to live music from Dave & Rae and meet Colts Running Back Vick Ballard.

COLTS PLAYOFF PARTY, PRESENTED BY BUD LIGHT (SATURDAY, JANUARY 11, 2014)

The Colts are teaming up with Latitude 39, Bud Light and 1070/107.5 The Fan to host their Official Playoff Party on Saturday, January 11, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event will include free playoff posters and give-a-ways, Colts Cheerleaders and Blue, Colts Alumnus Marlin Jackson, drink specials, and the opportunity to watch the game on more than 55 high definition TV's, including a giant 23 foot screen at Latitude 39. This is THE place to celebrate the Colts playoff run and watch the game with other Colts fans.
