The Indianapolis Colts' 2025 Countdown to Kickoff begins this weekend as the team prepares to open its 42nd season in Indianapolis next week. Throughout the week, the Colts also will pay tribute to late team Owner & CEO Jim Irsay, who passed away earlier this year.

AUG. 28 – SEPT. 5 – COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF SWEEPSTAKES
Fans can enter the Countdown to Kickoff Sweepstakes for a chance to win a grand prize of two tickets to the Sept 7. home opener vs. the Miami Dolphins, a custom jersey, an autographed football, pre-game sideline passes and parking.
Fans may submit their entry at Colts.com/kickoff beginning today until Sept. 5. The winner will be notified on Sept. 6.
THURS., SEPT. 4 – "JIM IRSAY ST." INSTALL
Install of "Jim Irsay St." Signs. In honor of Irsay, the city will ceremonially rename South St., between Capitol and Missouri streets, as "Jim Irsay St." for next Sunday's season opener.
FRI., SEPT. 5 – BLUE FRIDAY!
Blueing of the Canal. To get Indy ready for #ColtsKickoff, mascot "Blue," Colts Cheerleaders and Colts Legend & Hall of Famer Edgerrin James will continue the annual tradition of dyeing the Downtown Canal Colts blue. Like last year, they will take to the water for a unique and memorable kickoff to the season!
Friday Night Football Tour. The Colts will celebrate Indiana high school football this fall with the 2025 Friday Night Football Tour, presented by Hellas Construction and sponsored in part by Certor Sports and Indiana University.
Next week's tour stop will be at the Eastbrook-Frankton game, where the Colts will bring fan activities, games, inflatables, a chance to win prizes and an appearance by Colts Cheer, beginning 90 minutes before kickoff.

SAT., SEPT. 6 – COLTS 5K & BLUE'S FUN RUN
Registration for the 13th annual Indianapolis Colts 5K Run/Walk, presented by Ascension St. Vincent, and the second annual Blue's Fun Run, presented by Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, is still open at Colts5K.com.
Colts 5K Run/Walk. For $55, participants will have the opportunity to finish the race on the 50-yard line and enjoy a post-race celebration. Participants will receive a finisher T-shirt, medal and the option of adding a specially-priced ticket for one of three home games – Tennessee (Oct. 26), Houston (Nov. 30) or Jacksonville (Dec. 28) – at checkout. The Colts 5K Run/Walk is sponsored in part by WTTV-TV CBS and supported in kind by Gatorade, Legends Global Merchandise and Meijer.
Blue's Fun Run. For $20, kids 4 to 12 may join in the run and receive a finisher T-shirt, medal and access to the post-race celebration. Registration is free for current Blue's Club+ members. Non-members may participate in the run and join Blue's Club for a special bundle price of $49.

SUN., SEPT. 7 – HOME OPENER VS. MIAMI
The Colts will open the season against the Miami Dolphins, presented by Central Indiana Toyota Dealers. At halftime, the team will induct the late Jim Irsay into the Indianapolis Colts Ring of Honor.
- All fans attending the game will receive a "For The Boss" T-shirt in their seats.
- American Family Insurance Touchdown Town will be open north of Lucas Oil Stadium, where fans can enjoy live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and $3 Bud Light drink specials before gates open.
- Music & entertainment. The National Anthem will be performed by the Eastern Star Church Choir, which sang at Irsay's memorial service in June. What's more, Irsay's favorite songs will be on the gameday playlist throughout the day.
- Jim Irsay Commemorative Pin. Fans may now purchase a commemorative lapel pin featuring the Jim Irsay tribute patch, the same design that will be worn by players during the season. The pin is available in-store only at the Colts Pro Shop. Proceeds will benefit Kicking The Stigma, the Colts mental health awareness and outreach initiative.
- Jim Irsay Photo Mural. The 26 x 6 ft. photo mural will be on display at Touchdown Town before the game. The mural was created by fans who added their own photos to form the larger-than-life images of Irsay throughout the years.
