WINNING MODEL:Last week,*theNEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS *(9-3) clinched their fourth consecutive AFC East title and ninth division championship since 2003. The Patriots are guaranteed to finish the year with a winning record for the 12th consecutive season and are the first team to accomplish the feat since the San Francisco 49ers (1983-1998) posted a winning record in 16 consecutive seasons.

With a win against Houston on Monday Night Football, New England will reach 10 regular-season wins for the 10th consecutive season and join San Francisco (16) as the only teams in league annals to record 10 consecutive 10-win seasons.

STEADY BREES:New Orleans quarterback DREW BREES ranks second in the NFL with 3,674 passing yards this season.

Brees, who amassed an NFL-record 5,476 passing yards last year, has recorded 4,000 or more passing yards in each of the past six seasons (2006-2011), tied with PEYTON MANNING(1999-2004) for the longest such streak in NFL history. With 326 passing yards this Sunday at the New York Giants, Brees will become only the second quarterback to pass for 4,000 or more yards seven times and the first to do it in seven consecutive seasons.

CATCHING ON:New England's WES WELKER (92), Chicago's BRANDON MARSHALL(91) and Indianapolis' REGGIE WAYNE (88) have the most receptions among wide receivers this season. All three players own at least three seasons with 100 or more receptions and can reach the mark again this weekend.

With eight catches against Houston on Monday Night Football, Welker can become the first player in NFL history with five 100-reception seasons.

This weekend, Marshall and Wayne need nine and 12 catches, respectively, to join Welker, Pro Football Hall of Famer JERRY RICE and MARVIN HARRISONas the only players to have four seasons with 100 receptions.

MORE MEGATRON:Detroit wide receiver CALVIN JOHNSONleads the league with 1,428 receiving yards, the most by any player through his first 12 games since Pro Football Hall of Famer LANCE ALWORTHin 1965.

With 72 receiving yards at Green Bay on Sunday Night Football, Johnson can become the third player in NFL history to reach 1,500 receiving yards in back-to-back seasons, joining MARVIN HARRISON(Indianapolis 2001-2002) and ANDRE JOHNSON(Houston 2008-2009).

Only six players in league annals – Pro Football Hall of Famers JERRY RICE (four times) and MICHAEL IRVIN(two) and Harrison*(three),CHARLEY HENNIGAN (two),TORRY HOLT (two) and Andre Johnson *(two) – have accrued 1,500 or more receiving yards in multiple seasons.

THIRTY TD THROWS: Denver quarterback PEYTON MANNINGand Green Bay quarterback AARON RODGERShave thrown for 29 touchdowns in 2012, tied for the second-most behind New Orleans quarterback DREW BREES(31). Manning (six times), Brees (five) and Rodgers (two) have each recorded 30 or more touchdown passes in multiple seasons.

With at least one touchdown pass in Week 14, Manning will join BRETT FAVRE(nine) as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to throw 30 or more touchdown passes in seven seasons, while Rodgers can become the seventh quarterback with three such seasons.

New England's TOM BRADY (25) needs five touchdown passes to reach the mark for the fourth time in his career and tie Pro Football Hall of Famer DAN MARINO for the fourth-most seasons with 30 touchdown passes all-time.

WHAT'S THE RUSH:Entering the final quarter of the season, NFL teams are averaging 4.25 rushing yards per carry, on pace for the second-highest total since the merger. The league average last season was 4.29 yards per attempt, marking only the fifth time since 1970 the league-wide average finished above 4.20.
