Gardner left the Colts' Week 17 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a calf injury.

Running back Jonathan Taylor is neck-and-neck with Buffalo Bills running back James Cook for this year's rushing crown, while wide receiver Alec Pierce leads the NFL in yards per reception and is 29 yards away from reaching 900 receiving yards for the first time in his career.

Head coach Shane Steichen said he and his staff are working through possibly getting some younger players more snaps during Sunday's season finale against the Houston Texans.
