The Colts were recognized at the 2026 BART Awards at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis this week, as assistant general manager Ed Dodds and director of college scouting Matt Terpening were honored in the "Executive" category and the Colts were recognized as one of the best pro departments in the league (alongside the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks).
"Executive" honorees are anyone who is at or above a director role, excluding general managers.
The BART Awards are voted on exclusively by NFL scouts and personnel departments, rather than by media or casual observers. The awards, named in honor of former Los Angeles Rams scout Danton Barto who passed in 2021, are marks of peer recognition among the NFL. Neil Stratton presents the awards each year during the week of the NFL Combine.
