Colts general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen will return for the 2026 season.
Colts Owner and CEO Carlie Irsay-Gordon will hold a press conference Monday afternoon. Steichen will hold his usual end-of-season press conference Monday morning, while Ballard will hold a press conference later this week on a to-be-determined day.
The Colts on Sunday finished their 2025 season with an 8-9 record. After an 8-2 start, during which the Colts were the NFL's top scoring offense and acquired two-time AP All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets in a trade deadline day deal, the team lost seven consecutive games while being besieged by injuries, notably to quarterback Daniel Jones, Gardner, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and cornerback Charvarius Ward Sr., among other key players.
Ballard will enter his 10th year as Colts' general manager, while Steichen will be in his fourth year as the team's head coach.
