Indianapolis – The Indianapolis Colts today elevated defensive tackle Chris Wormley to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.
Wormley, 6-5, 300 pounds, was signed to the team's practice squad on November 18, 2025. He has played in 87 career games (31 starts) in his time with the Colts (2025), Baltimore Ravens (2024, 2017-19), Carolina Panthers (2023) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2020-22). Wormley has compiled 150 tackles (82 solo), 14.0 tackles for loss, 11.0 sacks, 10 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He has appeared in four postseason contests (two starts) and has registered seven tackles (six solo) and 1.0 tackle for loss. Wormley was originally selected by the Ravens in the third round (74th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Michigan.
