Colts announce 7 inactive players for Week 9 game at Steelers

The Colts prior to Sunday ruled out wide receiver Anthony Gould and defensive ends Samson Ebukam and Tyquan Lewis with injuries.

PITTSBURGH – The Colts on Sunday announced seven inactive players for their Week 9 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium:

  • DE Samson Ebukam (knee)
  • WR Anthony Gould (knee)
  • DE Tyquan Lewis (groin)
  • RB D.J. Giddens
  • S Reuben Lowery III
  • TE Will Mallory
  • T Luke Tenuta

Ebukam and Gould were ruled out with injuries on Friday – neither participated in practice this week – while Lewis was downgraded from questionable to out on Sunday. Ebukam and Lewis will miss their second consecutive games, while Gould sustained a knee injury in the Colts' Week 8 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Cornerback Jaylon Jones, who was activated off injured reserve on Saturday, will play his first game since sustaining a hamstring injury in the Colts' Week 1 win over the Miami Dolphins.
