The Colts on Monday announced seven inactive players for their Week 16 game against the San Francisco 49ers at Lucas Oil Stadium:
- CB Sauce Gardner (calf)
- WR Anthony Gould (foot)
- RB DJ Giddens
- S Reuben Lowery III
- LB Jaylon Carlies
- T Bernhard Raimann (elbow)
- TE Will Mallory
The Colts on Monday activated defensive tackle DeForest Buckner from injured reserve; Buckner missed the last five games with a neck injury. The Colts also waived quarterback Brett Rypien and elevated wide receiver Coleman Owen and guard Josh Sills to the active roster from the practice squad for Week 16.
On Sunday, tackle Bernhard Raimann (elbow) was downgraded to out for Monday's game.
The Colts on Saturday ruled out cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf) and wide receiver Anthony Gould (foot).
