Colts announce 7 inactive players for Week 4 game vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Colts on Friday ruled out three players with injuries: Guard Matt Goncalves (toe), cornerback Kenny Moore II (Achilles) and wide receiver Alec Pierce (concussion).

INGLEWOOD, Calif. – The Colts on Sunday announced seven inactive players for their Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium:

  • G Matt Goncalves (toe)
  • CB Kenny Moore II (Achilles)
  • WR Alec Pierce (concussion)
  • QB Riley Leonard (3rd quarterback)
  • DT Eric Johnson II
  • TE Will Mallory
  • T Luke Tenuta

The Colts ruled Goncalves, Moore and Pierce out on Friday due to their injuries. None of them participated in practice last week.

Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, who was listed as questionable to play with a back injury, is active for Week 4.

Cornerback Mike Hilton and guard Josh Sills on Saturday were elevated from the practice squad to the active roster. Hilton, an eight-year veteran, joined the Colts' practice squad on Tuesday and said this week he would be ready to play if needed.
