Chase VanSchoyck established new state bests with 10 touchdowns and 62 points scored in North Central's (Farmersburg) 93-20 win over Riverton Parke. VanSchoyck, who earlier this season set the single game rushing mark with 581 yards, finished with 417 yards on the ground as the Thunderbirds set a school best for points in a game.
Chandler Carroll rushed 33 times for new school records of 520 yards and eight touchdowns as Yorktown rolled to a 78-49 win over Pendleton Heights. The two clubs combined for 1,266 total yards, 18 touchdowns, 51 first downs, and three kickoff returns for scores. Riley Neal was 16-of-26 through the air for 275 yards and three scores, and Jacob Wagner added six catches for 125 yards and two tallies for the Tigers, who finished with 863 total yards to establish a new school record for points scored. Jesse Furrow completed 31-of-55 passes for a career-high 353 yards and four touchdowns, and Eren Davis added eight catches for 116 yards and three scores to go along with two kickoff returns for touchdowns for the Arabians.
Markel Jones tallied a career-best six touchdowns, helping Columbus East cruise to a 41-7 win over Madison.
Sammy Mireles ran for 201 yards, including the game-winning two-point conversion in overtime, helping Elwood to a 29-28 win over previously unbeaten Oak Hill. Mireles became only the sixth player in Indiana football history to surpass the 7,000-yard rushing mark with 7,049 yards. He needs just 511 yards to surpass Otis Shannon to become the state's all-time leader.
Junior Josh Holt rambled 42 times for 298 yards and five touchdowns, leading Columbus North to 49-42 win against Perry Meridian. Holt's mark was the second highest in school history. Conner Smith completed 16-of-26 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns, and Andrew Robinson ran for two scores for Perry Meridian. JaQuan Keys caught five passes for 105 yards and one score to go along with a 93-yard kickoff return for another tally for the Falcons.
Michael Hartman carried the football 27 times for 216 yards and two touchdowns as Plymouth rallied for a 42-39 win over Concord. Jack Barron added two scores for the Rockies. Trevor Wilmore passed for 245 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 118 yards, while Jarrell Pointdexter hauled in eight passes for 153 yards and four scores for the Minutemen.
Torrey Armstrong's three-yard touchdown pass to Jarrett Dickey with one second left in the game gave Hammond Morton a thrilling 63-56 victory over Gary West. The contest featured 45 first downs and 1,163 yards of total offense. Armstrong passed for 152 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another 115 and another pair of scores. Kenneth Coleman added 259 yards and three scores for the Governors. Henry Smith rushed for 179 yards and four touchdowns for the Cougars.
Ethan Darter's 18-yard touchdown pass to John Gbur late in the fourth quarter paved helped Lake Central rally for a 14-13 victory over Chesterton. Brandon Scott rushed for 137 yards and a score, and Logan Lambert recorded 10.5 tackles for the Indians, who remain perfect in the Duneland Conference.
Joe Jumenville rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns, including a school-record 98-yard run, in Munster's 44-24 victory at Hobart. Jumenville added another 82 yards passing and a score, and Dom Lucito chipped in 143 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the Mustangs. Drey Devereaux rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown for the Brickies.
Vernard Whitfield's 10-yard TD run in overtime helped lift Hammond Bishop Noll into second place in the Greater South Shore Conference with a 13-6 victory over River Forest.
Jonathan Robinson hauled in a 90-yard touchdown pass from D.J. Wilkins as Merrillville broke open a close game on its way to a 35-8 victory at Valparaiso to stay atop the Duneland Conference. Wilkins finished with 188 yards and two touchdowns, while Bryant Isabel added three short scoring runs for the Pirates.
Matt DeSomer passed for 168 yards and a pair of scores and added 115 yards and a touchdown on the ground, leading Andrean to a 35-6 victory over Kankakee Valley to remain unbeaten on the season. Joe Purtin rushed for 106 yards and a score on the game's final play for Kankakee Valley.
Highland broke a long scoreless drought with a strong rushing attack in a 40-36 victory over Griffith. Matt Hall ran for 127 yards and two touchdowns, and Ian Hardy added 100 yards and three scores for Highland. Sean McQuillan rushed for 129 yards and a score as the Trojans totaled 465 yards rushing to end an eight-quarter scoreless streak.
Ethan Young rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns, helping Whiting stay undefeated with a 41-22 victory over Calumet. Quarterback A.J. Velez threw for 229 yards and a score for the Oilers. Quentin Harris hauled in a pair of touchdown passes for the Warriors.
George Fields rushed for 121 yards to lead Lowell to a 21-6 win over Hammond. Dan Garza added 10 tackles to help the Red Devils to their fifth straight win. Derrion Rogers completed three passes to De'Shon Robinson for 129 yards and the lone Wildcats' score.
Tristan Peterson ran for 105 yards and a pair of scores as Crown Point breezed to a 31-0 victory over LaPorte. The Bulldogs' defense limited the Slicers to 129 yards in the contest.
Hashim Simpson rushed for 83 yards and two scores to lead a balanced Portage to a 24-7 win over Michigan City. Marcus Horton tallied 118 yards rushing and one score for Michigan City
Anthony Hunt ran for 139 yards and three touchdowns as East Chicago Central blanked Gary Wallace, 34-0. The Cardinals' defense was solid, limiting the Hornets to just three first downs and 73 total yards of offense.
Drue Tranquill helped Carroll (FW) get its first win over Homestead since 2003 by running 17 times for 245 yards and five touchdowns in a 51-34 triumph. Justin Tranquill added 122 yards on the ground and two scores for the Chargers. Logan Ormsby threw for 313 yards and four touchdowns and ran for a fifth tally for Homestead.
Colin Barthel was 20-of-26 through the air for 387 yards and five touchdowns in Indianapolis Cathedral's 47-30 win over F.W. Bishop Dwenger. Barthel also ran for a score, Ohio State recruit Terry McLaurin had eight catches for 167 yards and one score, and Ball State bound wide out Zach Saum added nine receptions for 197 yards and three scores for the Irish. Mike Fiacable passed for 238 yards and one touchdown, and Ryan Watercutter added six catches for 112 yards and one tally for the Saints.
Neandre Billingsley ran 15 times for 140 yards and one touchdown, lifting F.W. Snider to a 42-7 win over Elkhart Central. Colton Painter added 137 yards passing and two scores for the Panthers.
Kyle Baker ran for 191 yards and Carter Sharp found the end zone twice as Adams Central cruised to a 42-26 win over Southern Wells. Andrew Sharp tossed for 120 yards and one score, and Alex Byerly ran and caught a pass for scores for the Flying Jets. Cole Preston scampered for 120 yards, and Bryce Bonewit added two scores for the Raiders.
Piercen Harnish threw for 166 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another 72 yards, guiding Norwell to a 49-0 blanking of DeKalb. Reid Jutte added 100 yards on the ground and caught a pass for a score, and Adam Nahrwold chipped in three touchdown catches for the Knights. Harrison Price passed for 163 yards for the Barons.
David Morrison was 20-of-26 passing for 376 yards and five touchdowns in F.W Concordia's 42-7 win over F.W Northrop. Jake Minnich had eight receptions for 184 yards and three scores, Jorden Kindig added five catches for 101 yards and two tallies, and Jon Poore ran for 145 yards for the Cadets.
Noah Follett completed 22-of-31 passes for 326 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 88 yards and another score, lifting Garrett to a 49-28 win against South Adams. Ryan VandeZande caught 10 passes for 134 yards and three scores, and Dustin Underwood added eight catches for 102 yards for the Railroaders. Derek Wanner passed for two scores and ran for a third for the Starfires.
Walker Boyles had eight rushes for 106 yards and three touchdowns, leading East Noble to a 31-7 win over Columbia City.
Jordan Hogue had a touchdown catch and run to go along with a 47-yard interception return for another score as New Haven clinched a tie for the Northeast Hoosier Conference crown with a 54-14 thrashing of Bellmont. Hogue had five catches for 89 yards, Vance Shearer added 175 yards passing and one score, and D'Andre Smith chipped in eight carries for 114 yards and one tally for the Bulldogs.
Branson Dossen combined for more than 275 yards and three touchdowns in Heritage's 39-14 win over Bluffton. Dossen threw for 163 yards and two scores and ran for 123 yards and one tally. Justyn Hart rushed 18 times for 118 yards and three touchdowns for the Patriots. Malcolm Marshall passed for 177 yards and one score for Bluffton.
Michael Lovett passed for 216 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 104 yards and a score as F.W. North breezed to a 38-17 win against F.W. Bishop Luers. Nick Cook added 13 rushes for 139 yards and one touchdown and four catches for 94 yards for the Redskins. Noah Wezensky tossed for 227 yards for the Knights.
Daigien Morgan rolled up more than 150 total yards, good for three touchdowns, in S.B. Riley's 20-0 shutout over Mishawaka Marian. Morgan ran for 123 yards and two scores and threw for 39 yards and another tally, and Thomas Capers added 146 yards rushing for the Wildcats.
Zach Oakley passed for two touchdowns and ran for a third score, lifting Penn to a 58-7 decision over S.B. St. Joseph. Khalil Fleming ran for two touchdowns, and Aaron Hancock added a pair of interceptions, including one returned 42 yards for a score, for the Kingsmen, who saw their 22 quarter scoreless streak come to an end.
Tanner Bradley ran for 111 yards and three touchdowns in Mishawaka's 28-14 win over S.B. Adams. Shaq Vann ran for a touchdown and passed for a score for Adams.
Zach Burton and Kyle Martin scored two touchdowns apiece, leading Eastbrook to a 38-28 win over Mississinewa. Burton had 24 carries for 191 yards, Jacob Singer added 114 yards on 12 attempts, and Alex Campbell chipped in 15 tackles, including 10 solos, for the Panthers. Hontz McCarty passed for 199 yards and three touchdowns to pace Mississinewa. Seth McCullen added three catches for 115 yards and one score, and Seth McPheron hauled in two touchdown passes for the Indians.
Kyle Castner was 16-of-21 passing for 193 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a fourth score, lifting Ben Davis to a 37-20 upset of top-ranked (Class 6A) and previously unbeaten Center Grove. Sean Boswell caught two touchdown passes for the Giants. Luke Calvert tossed for 163 yards and one score, Titus McCoy ran for 112 yards and one tally, and Seth Northern booted a pair of 34-yard field goals for the Trojans.
Conner Christiansen passed for 121 yards and one touchdown as Fishers posted a 17-7 win over Zionsville.
Gaige Klingsmith rushed for 135 yards and four touchdowns, guiding Floyd Central to a 69-7 thrashing of Bedford North Lawrence. Gabe Kennedy added 141 yards and two scores on the ground for the Highlanders.
Tyler Katschke accumulated 134 yards rushing and two touchdowns, leading Winamac to a 30-13 win over North Judson.
Travis Schlabach rushed for 147 yards and a touchdown in Northridge's 20-0 shutout of Goshen. Tanner Love passed and ran for scores for the Raiders. Derek DeMeyer passed for 127 yards for the Redskins.
Luke Edwards scampered for 115 yards and one touchdown, helping NorthWood to 30-15 win over Elkhart Memorial. Tanner Cleveland ran for two scores, and Dominic Miranda added two interceptions for the Panthers. Nate Troutman threw for 104 yards and one score and ran for another tally for the Chargers.
Jacob Bennitt caught five passes for 185 yards and four touchdowns, leading Bremen to a 49-6 drubbing of Knox. Kai Slough added 197 yards through the air for the Lions.
Nik Olson carried the football six times for 134 yards and two touchdowns in Jimtown's 49-0 blanking of Culver. Casey Adams and Chance Livings combined for 150 yards and two scores apiece for the Jimmies.
Ethan Kertal had 121 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, leading LaVille to a 31-12 win over Triton. Levi Lucas chipped in 126 yards rushing and one score for the Lancers.
Zach Brassell threw for 125 yards and one touchdown and rushed for two scores as New Prairie blanked Glenn, 56-0. Wade Young added 107 yards on the ground and one touchdown, and Sam Scott caught a pass for a score and returned a punt 58 yards for another tally for the Cougars.
Kyle Mast passed for 210 yards and three touchdowns, lifting Fairfield to a 49-10 drubbing of previously unbeaten Lakeland. Forrest Gloglouski hauled in two scoring passes, good for 126 yards, and Cameron Kitson ran for three scores for the Falcons.
Ben Shriver threw for 184 yards and three touchdown passes to Tanner Andrews, helping Tippecanoe Valley post a 42-21 win over Rochester. Jacob Howdeshell ran for 122 yards and three scores for Rochester.
Hunter McCracken tallied 184 yards rushing and five touchdowns on 18 attempts, guiding Frontier to a 40-16 win over West Central to snap a 34-game losing streak. Feliciano Villarreal ran for 99 yards and one touchdown and caught a pass for another tally for West Central.
Tristan McClone rambled 36 times for 175 yards and two touchdowns as Warsaw used a missed extra-point to edge rival Wawasee, 14-13. Gage Reinhard tossed for 190 yards and one touchdown and ran for another tally for Wawasee.
Ethan Nicodemus tossed for 127 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score in Whitko's 49-35 win over North Miami. Devin Gerding rushed for 116 yards and one score, and Tanner Hughes added two scores on the ground for the Wildcats. Keith Rouch had nine carries for 154 yards and three touchdowns, and Jacob White chipped in a scoring run and catch for the Warriors.
Will Randell threw for 326 yards and five touchdowns as Castle piled 574 total yards in a 63-40 win over Evansville Harrison. Christian Peach added 160 yards rushing and four scores for the Knights. Kyndrick Hancock ran 16 times for 224 yards and two scores for the Warriors, who finished with 475 yards of offense.
Malik Higgins scored a pair of touchdowns in the final 3:34, helping Evansville Reitz rally for a 20-16 win over Evansville North.
Nolan Goebel carried the ball 22 times for 202 yards and four touchdowns in Evansville Mater Dei's 48-28 win over Evansville Bosse. Goebel now has 997 yards rushing for the season. Ian Nunley passed for 142 yards and two touchdowns for Bosse and now has more than 1,700 yards for the year. Carrington Crutcher surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark with 45 yards on the ground for the Bulldogs.
Avion Sullivan was a workhorse with 45 carries for 346 yards and three touchdowns, leading Evansville Central to a 35-31 win over Evansville Memorial. Austin Fuchs added a pair of touchdown tosses to Jalen Pemberton for Central.
Reece Metcalf threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a fourth score, leading Mount Carmel (Ill.) to 27-14 win over previously unbeaten Jasper. Nolan Ahrens had 211 yards passing for the Wildcats, who had their 18-game regular season winning streak halted.
Nick Sellers completed all 11 of his passes for 211 yards and three touchdowns in Gibson Southern's 58-15 pasting of Pike Central. Griffin Scheller hauled in two touchdown passes, and Austin Peyton added 10 rushes for 136 yards and two scores for the Titans.
Elliott Brown ran for 195 yards and two touchdowns, leading Tell City to a 20-7 win over North Posey.
Jake Burden tallied 112 yards on the ground and three touchdowns, lifting South Spencer to a 44-10 win against Forest Park. Malin Webb chipped in 114 yards passing and one score for the Rebels.
Conner Craig had 13 carries for 236 yards and one score, guiding Southridge to a 34-8 win over Heritage Hills. Aidan Michel added two touchdowns for the Raiders.
Adam Grannan was 13-of-16 passing for 306 yards and five touchdowns in Tecumseh's 48-0 blanking Springs Valley. Spencer Jones caught five passes for 202 yards and four scores for the Braves.
Austin LeClere ran for 110 yards and three touchdowns, lifting Perry Central to a 40-8 drubbing of West Washington. Lane Lynch added three scoring passes for the Commodores.
Zach Donan ran and passed for touchdowns as New Albany downed Jeffersonville, 33-26. Vincete Falcone added a 44-yard field goal as the Bulldogs captured their first win over Jeffersonville since 2010. Freshman quarterback Cameron Northern threw four touchdown passes, two of them to Chris Campbell, for the Red Devils.
Antonyo Gaddie rambled for 151 yards and three touchdowns as Charlestown posted its third straight shutout with a 35-0 blanking of Corydon Central.
Owen Mattingly ran six times for 172 yards and four touchdowns, lifting Providence to a 67-0 drubbing of Mitchell. Conner Johnson added 108 yards on the ground and two scores for the Pioneers, who seized control with a 26-point first quarter.
Jack Phelps' 22-yard field goal as time expired helped North Harrison claim a 31-28 win over Silver Creek. Brandon Craig found the end zone three times for Harrison, while Brooks Howell tossed for 187 yards and three scores for Silver Creek.
Tyler Scott completed 26-of-40 passes for a career-high 332 yards and six touchdowns in Greencastle's 49-24 win over Cloverdale. Seth Brown had eight catches for 137 yards and four scores, and Riley Cook added a career-best 11 receptions for 99 yards and one score for the Tiger Cubs. Mark Osmialowski passed for 238 yards and two scores and ran for a third tally for Cloverdale. Wade Warren had seven catches for 172 yards and two touchdowns, and Ethan Boyd ran three times for 104 yards and one score for the Clovers.
Lucas Lorian rambled for 288 yards and six touchdowns, leading South Putnam to a 45-21 win against Mt. Vernon (Posey). Austin Guthrie ran for 83 yards and two touchdowns, and Riley Snodgrass passed for 104 yards and one score for Mt. Vernon.
Logan Hale tossed a pair of touchdown passes to Clay Sichting, lifting Monrovia to a 36-22 decision over North Putnam. Trevor Ellis added two rushing scores for the Bulldogs. Gabe McFadden passed for 106 yards and two touchdowns for the Cougars.
Bo Baker found the end zone twice in Kokomo's 14-7 win over Logansport. Fletcher Miller tallied 10 tackles for the Wildkats.
Conner Faulkner carried the football 22 times for 228 yards and four touchdowns, leading Hamilton Heights to a 41-22 win over Northwestern. Kellen Hughes added two interceptions for the Huskies. Michael Plummer raced for 152 yards and two touchdowns, and Trae Nearon recovered a pair of fumbles for the Tigers.
Austin Hooker enjoyed a triumphant return to the lineup by completing 10-of-17 passes for 174 yards and a touchdown in Tipton's 27-24 win over Sherdian. Cory King's 69-yard punt return for a score proved to be the difference as the Blue Devils snapped a three-game losing skid. Jake Devendorf had six catches for 127 yards and one score, and Nate Hein added 19 rushes for 133 yards and one tally for Tipton. Austin Hoover paced the Blackhawks with 31 carries for 192 yards and two touchdowns.
Garrett Kelley paced a balanced attack with 19 rushes for 175 yards and two touchdowns as Tri-Central cruised to a 52-0 win over Anderson Prep Academy. Cody Howell threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third score, and Cody Colbert chipped in eight rushes for 113 yards and one score for the Trojans.
Jackson Anthrop had 14 receptions for 131 yards and two touchdown passes from Ty Preston, helping Lafayette Central Catholic post a 30-26 win over Indianapolis Broad Ripple. Anthrop also had an interception for the Knights. C.J. Shittu tossed a touchdown pass and ran for a score, and Emanuel Evans added two scores, including a 23-yard interception return for the Rockets.
Maurice Woodard had 23 rushes for 119 yards and five touchdowns in West Lafayette's 49-28 win over Twin Lakes. Parker Rochetto was 14-of-16 passing for 279 yards, and Brandon Watt added three catches for 166 yards for the Red Devils. Cameron Bennington passed for 210 yards and three touchdowns, and Corbin Turpak had eight catches for 102 yards for the Indians.
Nick Ferrer threw two touchdown passes to Devin Reece, leading Westfield to a 42-28 win over McCutcheon. Aaron Phillips threw for 229 yards and three touchdowns, and Nate Deno added four catches for 124 yards to go along with 52 yards rushing and two scores for McCutcheon. Caleb Harper added 18 tackles and an interception for the Mavericks.
Toks Akinribade ran for 197 yards and a touchdown, lifting Brownsburg to a 27-12 win against Harrison (Lafayette). Jake Lasky passed and ran for scores for Harrison, which has lost a state-high 33 straight games.
Avery Walker returned interceptions of 43 and 37 yards for touchdowns, helping Rensselaer to a 55-0 blanking of Delphi. Dalton Souders caught a touchdown pass and returned a fumble 27 yards for another score, and Dylan Wright threw a pair of touchdown passes for the Bombers.
Joel Kauth ran for 79 yards, including a two-yard touchdown with 1:22 remaining, leading North Montgomery to a 14-10 win over previously unbeaten Lebanon. Kauth also recorded 13 tackles and caught a 79-yard touchdown pass. Jalen West threw for 200 yards and one score and ran for 110 yards, and Bailey Adams added 10 tackles for the Chargers. Jamason Wright has 110 yards rushing and one score for the Tigers.
John Lampe tossed for 215 yards and one touchdown to Austin Roberts, lifting Carmel to a 21-15 win over Warren Central. Roberts finished with eight catches for 130 yards, and Chris Perkins ran for two scores for the Greyhounds. Max Hernandez connected on field goals on 29, 21, and 39 yards and returned a fumble for a score for the Warriors.
Koby Pierce threw three touchdown passes in Fountain Central's 48-7 win over Benton Central. Collin Strange chipped in two scoring runs for the Mustangs.
Brady Sheridan ran seven times for 123 yards and four touchdowns, leading Attica to a 67-0 shutout over Covington. Tyler Campbell completed 7-of-11 passes for 196 yards and two scores for the Red Ramblers.
Tyler Munson rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns, lifting Seeger to a 45-0 blanking of Turkey Run. Trevor Bowlus added 119 yards on the ground and one score for the Patriots.
Luis Medina scampered 10 times for 173 yards and five touchdowns, helping Frankfort roll to a 68-7 win over Crawfordsville. James Brandenburg added two scoring runs, Isaac Rudd passed for 134 yards and one score and ran for another tally, and Jarrod Smith tallied two touchdowns, including a 25-yard interception return for the Hot Dogs.
Jordan Petty scored two touchdowns as Clinton Central earned its first win of the season with a 33-7 decision over Carroll (Flora). Jaden Reneau ran and passed for scores for the Bulldogs.
Blake Justice rambled for 176 yards and three touchdowns and passed for a fourth score in Tri-County's 48-26 win over Clinton Prairie. Brenden Kidd added 107 yards on the ground for the Cavaliers, while Kale Morris paced Clinton Prairie with two touchdown passes.
Justin Mersch and Sam Kiser combined for 266 yards rushing and six touchdowns as Pioneer rolled to a 64-36 win against North White. Luke Diener passed and ran for scores for North White.
Autry Pickens romped for 294 yards rushing and seven touchdowns in Danville's 53-20 thrashing of Southmont. Christian Schabel passed for 93 yards and one touchdown and ran for 99 yards and another for the Warriors. Nathan Farrabee ran for 102 yards and two scores for the Mounties, who had quarterback Devon Burton go down with a leg injury during the game.
Timmric Barrett's two touchdowns helped Muncie Central rally for a 34-33 win over Huntington North.
Cade Jones completed 8-of-13 passes for 113 yards and five touchdowns in Delta's 57-6 thrashing of Muncie South. Alex Fuatavai had two catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns, returned a kickoff for another score, and an interception for Delta. Jalen Robinson hauled in two touchdown passes, and Joe Spegal ran 15 times for 126 yards and one score for the Eagles.
Jordan Christian was 13-of-22 for 259 yards passing and two touchdowns, guiding Richmond to a 49-3 win over New Castle. Christian also ran for a score, and Matt Morrow accumulated more than 100 yards of offense with two touchdown catches and one scoring run as Richmond clinched a share of the North Central Conference crown. Brenden Hegg had five receptions for 136 yards and one score, Justin Holland ran 14 times for 116 yards and one touchdown, and Dakota Pennington booted field goals of 26 and 31 yards for the Red Devils.
Kelsy Kirkland tallied 199 yards and one touchdown on 18 attempts, lifting Northeastern to a 44-10 win over Union County.
Bryce Robinson and Mitchell Burelison both surpassed the 100-yard mark rushing in Centerville's 44-12 win over Hagerstown/ Robinson had 19 carries for 133 yards and three touchdowns, and Burelison added 16 rushes for 119 yards and one score.
