TOP PERFORMERS

Sammy Mireles had 27 carries for 239 yards and four touchdowns in Elwood's 58-50 win over Lapel in Class 2A Sectional 36 action. Mireles, who is the state's all-time leading rusher, needs 68 yards to reach to reach the 8,000-mark for the Panthers (7-3). Brady Cherry passed for 339 yards and three touchdowns, Bailey Partington had eight catches for 151 yards, and Joe Hart ran for 236 yards and two scores for the Bulldogs (3-7).

Blake Luker combined for more than 450 total yards and six touchdowns in New Palestine's 62-40 win over Pendleton Heights in Class 4A Sectional 21 play. The two teams combined for more than 1,300 total yards of offense. Luker passed for 286 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 170 yards and three scores. James Young added 266 yards rushing and two scores, Tyler Walden caught 10 passes for 146 yards and one score, and Nolan Guedel added two scoring catches for the Dragons (10-0). Jesse Furrow completed 32-of-62 passes for a school-record 561 yards and six touchdowns, Chandler Wilson had 10 catches for 223 yards and two touchdowns, and Eren Davis added 12 receptions for 157 yards and three scores for the Arabians (4-6).

Justin Drudge threw the game-tying touchdown pass and ran for the go-ahead score in overtime, leading Plymouth to a 28-21 win over S.B. Riley in Class 3A Sectional 18 action. Jack Barron passed for 126 yards and ran for 95 yards and one score for the Rockies (8-2). Daigien Morgan tossed for 94 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 79 yards and one tally for the Wildcats (5-5).

Collin McEuen and Cole Teal both ran for more than 100 yards and two touchdowns as Chesterton cruised to a 31-3 win over Valparaiso in Class 6A Sectional 1 play. McEuen tallied 147 yards and Teal added 121 for the Trojans (4-6). J.P. Kunze tossed for 113 yards for the Vikings (3-7).

Wade Young accumulated 220 yards on the ground and five touchdowns on 20 attempts, leading New Prairie to a 62-0 blanking of Kankakee Valley in Class 4A Sectional 18 action. Tyler Weller added 212 yards rushing and two scores for the Cougars (10-0), who accumulated more than 500 yards rushing and reached the 62-point mark for the fourth time this season. Darrick Webster tallied 110 total yards of offense, and Cody Koartge recorded 10 tackles, including eight solos, for the Kougars (4-6).

McKinley Warren rushed 26 times for 181 yards and two touchdowns and caught a pass for a third score, helping Evansville Memorial to a 34-14 win in Class 3A Sectional 32 play.  Jordan Scheesele threw and ran for scores, and Sam Stratman booted field goals of 23 and 30 yards for the Tigers (3-7). Logan Wilkerson tossed a pair of touchdown passes for the Patriots (2-8).

Ramone Atkins tossed for 187 yards and one touchdown and added two scores on the ground in Gary West's 30-9 win over Lowell in Class 4A Sectional 17 action. JonVea Johnson caught seven passes for 130 yards and one score for the Cougars (6-4). George Fields ran for 189 yards for the Red Devils (6-4).

Kyle Castner went 17-of-25 for 239 yards and three touchdowns as Ben Davis rolled to a 35-9 win against Avon in a Class 6A Sectional 5 matchup. Castner also ran for 62 yards and one score, Lajuwon Gildon added 10 receptions for 131 yards and one score, and Asmar Bilal recorded 10.5 tackles, including nine solos, for the Giants (8-2). Brandon Peters tossed for 197 yards and one touchdown and ran for another tally for the Orioles (6-4).

Camaron Northern passed for 269 yards and three touchdowns, leading Jeffersonville to a 30-22 win over Columbus North in a Class 6A Sectional 8 affair. Dionte Allen ran for two scores and caught a pass for a third tally, and Isaiah Blanton hauled in three receptions for 111 yards and one score for the Red Devils (6-4). Josh Holt rushed for 161 yards and one score, and Weston Moore caught two touchdown passes for the Bulldogs (3-7).

Brandon Mable rambled for 266 yards and five touchdowns, lifting East Noble to a 55-21 win over NorthWood in Class 4A Sectional 19 play. Jared Teders booted seven extra-points and field goals of 21 and 25 yards for the Knights (8-2). Will Kirkwood passed for 165 yards and two touchdowns to Travis Beer and rushed for another tally for the Panthers (4-6).

Taj Smith carried the football 23 times for 237 yards and three touchdowns, guiding S.B. St. Joseph to a 42-28 win over Hobart in a Class 4A Sectional 18 contest. Matt Monserez threw for 216 yards and two scores and ran for a third tally, and Jake Froelich added seven catches for 107 yards and one touchdown for the Indians (7-3). Andrew Barras passed for 227 yards and two touchdowns, Noah Smith ran for two scores, and Drey Devereaux caught seven passes for 212 yards and one touchdown for the Brickies (5-5).

Logan Leiter scampered for 249 yards and three touchdowns as Leo rolled past Wawasee, 35-7, in Class 4A Sectional 19 action. Logan Wood added two scores for the Lions (10-0). Gage Reinhard passed for 169 yards and one touchdown for the Warriors (5-5).

Casey Adams ran for 143 yards and four touchdowns, lifting Jimtown to a 53-18 victory over Tippecanoe Valley in a Class 3A Sectional 26 matchup. Nik Olson added two scores on the ground for the Jimmies (8-2). Ben Shriver passed for 295 yards and three touchdowns for the Vikings (5-5).

Mike Fiacable passed and ran for touchdowns in F.W. Bishop Dwenger's 28-3 win over Northridge (7-3) in a Class 4A Sectional 19 contest.

Cameron Kitson tallied 155 yards on the ground with two touchdowns and caught a pass for a third score as Fairfield downed Maconaquah, 42-28, in Class 3A Sectional 26 play. Kyle Mast chipped in 155 yards through the air and two touchdowns, and Lucas added two scores, including a 53-yard interception return, for the Falcons (9-1). Cody Hicks ran for two touchdowns for the Braves (6-4).

A.J. Veloz was 13-of-17 through the air for 204 yards and two touchdowns, leading Whiting to a 29-17 win over LaVille in a Class 1A Sectional 41 opener. Veloz also ran for a score, and Ethan Young added 136 yards rushing and one touchdown for the Oilers (9-1). Ethan Kertai scored two touchdowns, and Cam Gurtner added 135 yards rushing for the Lancers (5-5).

David Morrison tossed for 268 yards and three touchdowns to three different receivers in FW. Concordia's 28-14 decision over Lakeland in Class 3A Sectional 26 play. Morrison also ran for a score as the Cadets (7-3) rolled up more than 500 total yards. William Kelly had 203 yards through the air and two scores for the Lakers (7-3).

Tyler Katschke paced a balanced attack with 134 yard rushing and two touchdowns, lifting Winamac to a 73-14 win over Lake Station (2-8) in a Class 1A Sectional 41 contest. Sean Lynch caught a pass for a touchdown and returned a fumble 26 yards for another tally along with four quarterback sacks, while J.T. Garrett added two scores through the air for the Warriors (10-0), who tallied their most points since 2000.

Matt DeSomer threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 81 yards and a third tally as Andrean rolled over Knox (4-6) in Class 3A Sectional 25 action. Cam Bosak added two scores for the 59ers (10-0).

Parker Fritz rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns in West Central's 66-6 thrashing of Triton (2-8) in a Class 1A Sectional 41 affair. Dylan Ingram chipped in 138 yards on the ground and three scores, and Felciano Villarreal added three tallies for the Trojans (7-3).

Jon Stoller had 17 carries for 307 yards and three touchdowns, guiding Bremen to 49-21 win over Manchester in a Class 2A Sectional 34 contest. Josh Fuchs added two scores on the ground, and Kai Slough passed and ran for touchdowns for the Lions (7-3), who racked up 483 yards of offense. Jacob Casper tallied two touchdowns for the Squires (3-7).

Jacob Howdeshell raced for 293 yards and three scores in Rochester's 52-21 defeat of Peru (4-6) in a Class 3A Sectional 26 matchup. Carter Screeton, Matt Basham, and Jay Heckathorn added two touchdowns apiece as the Zebras (8-2) rolled up over 400 yards rushing.

 Everett Krueger tallied three touchdowns as Culver (4-6) held on for a 36-33 win over South Central in Class 1A Sectional 41 action. Kyle Sturdy rushed for three scores and passed for a fourth tally for South Central (5-5).

Mavrick Pitts found the end zone six times in North Judson's 50-6 clubbing of North Newton in Class 2A Sectional 33 play. The Bluejays (3-7) limited North Newton (1-9) to minus-58 yards rushing.

Sophomore Darian Phillips passed for 78 yards and a touchdown and also ran for 94 yards, helping Mishawaka claim a 38-14 win over LaPorte in Class 5A Sectional 9 action. Tanner Bradley ran for two scores, while Daniel Hesch rushed and caught a pass for scores for the Cavemen (7-3). Noah Boardman returned a fumble 53 yards for a touchdown for the Slicers (1-9).

Zach Oakley combined for nearly 300 total yards and three touchdowns, lifting Penn to a 28-7 win over Portage in Class 6A Sectional 2 semifinal play. Oakley rushed for 181 yards and two scores and passed for 103 yards and a tally for the Kingsmen (10-0). Gage Pearman tossed for 197 yards and one score for the Indians (6-4).

Michael Schmeltz scored three touchdowns as Glenn rolled to a 37-21 win over Marian in Class 3A Sectional 25 action. Zach Combes added 30 carries for 163 yards and one score for the Falcons (2-8). Dominic Ravotto ran for two touchdowns for the Knights (4-6).

Tristan McClone carried the ball 25 times for 121 yards and four touchdowns, guiding Warsaw to a 40-20 triumph over F.W. Northrop (2-8) in Class 6A Sectional 3 play. Austin Head tossed for 134 yards and one score for the Tigers (7-3).

Tyler White was 13-of-21 through the air for 191 yards and two touchdowns in S.B. Washington's 40-34 win over S.B. Clay in a Class 3A Sectional 18 thriller. Michael Hankerson caught two passes for scores and ran for another tally for the Panthers (1-9). Anthony Taborn paced the Colonials (1-9) with 113 yards on the ground, two scores, and a touchdown reception.

Malik Higgins carried the ball four times for 129 yards and two touchdowns, leading Evansville Reitz (7-3) to a 38-0 shutout of Owen Valley (5-5) in a Class 4A Sectional 24 contest.

Chase Hoehn completed 10-of-12 passes for 116 yards and also ran for a touchdown, lifting Evansville Mater Dei to a 48-7 win over Forest Park (2-8) in Class 2A Sectional 40 action. Julian Wedner added seven carries for 104 yards and two scores for the Wildcats (10-0).

Nolan Ahrens tossed for 195 yards and two touchdowns in Jasper's 40-7 victory over Evansville Harrison (1-8) in a Class 4A Sectional 24 affair. Ben Moore added two scores on the ground for the Wildcats (9-1).

Carrington Crutcher found the end zone twice in Evansville Bosse's 25-20 win over Pike Central (1-9) in a Class 3A Sectional 32 barnburner. Ian Nunley tossed a pair of scoring passes to Nick Hansen for the Bulldogs (6-4).

Avion Sullivan ran six times for 197 yards and four touchdowns, helping Evansville Central to a 77-28 win over Seymour (0-10) in Class 4A Sectional 24 action. Freshman Tias Stewart chipped in three rushes for 111 yards and two scores for the Bears (7-3).

Sophomore signal caller Nick Sellers combined for over 300 yards of offense in Gibson Southern's 42-21 win over Vincennes Lincoln in Class 3A Sectional 32 play. Sellers threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 54 yards for the Titans (10-0). Avory Mickens ran 15 times for 100 yards and one score for the Alices (2-8).

Adam Grannan tossed for 197 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another tally, leading Tecumseh (9-1) to a 71-12 win over Wood Memorial (1-9) in a Class 1A Sectional 48 opener.

Lance Inkenwright tallied 145 yards rushing and two touchdowns, lifting North Posey to a 55-14 victory over Eastern Greene (4-6) in a Class 2A Sectional 40 contest. Dillon Wright added two scores on the ground for the Vikings (4-6).

Deon Hardiman rambled for 287 yards and two touchdown as Princeton (7-3) rolled to a 34-21 win over Mount Vernon (Posey) in Class 3A Sectional 32 action. Austin Guthrie paced Posey (3-7) with 215 yards rushing and three scores.

Brooks Weszely ran for four touchdowns, guiding Sullivan (7-3) to a 48-21 win against South Spencer in Class 2A Sectional 40 play. Malin Webb threw two touchdown passes for South Spencer (7-3).

Austin LeClere raced for 215 yards and two touchdowns, helping Perry Central (8-2) hold on for a 37-35 win over North Knox (4-6) in a Class 1A Sectional 48 affair.

Edwin Revolorio scored a pair of touchdowns in Washington's (1-9) 62-30 loss to Brownstown Central (10-0) in Class 3A Sectional 31 play.

Colton Lengacher romped for 376 yards and six touchdowns, helping North Davies (8-2) roll to a 58-18 win over Springs Valley (1-9) in Class 1A Sectional 48 action.

Brandon Dossen's 14-yard touchdown run with 5.3 seconds left helped Heritage rally for a 41-38 win over Garrett in a Class 3A Sectional 27 thriller. Dossen passed for 176 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 51 yards and two scores, and Justyn Hart added two rushing touchdowns for the Patriots (7-3). Noah Follett tallied two scores for the Railroaders (4-6).

Justin Tranquill rushed for a school-record 254 yards and three touchdowns as Carroll (F.W.) cruised to a 49-7 win over Homestead (5-5) in Class 6A Sectional 3 semifinal play. Tranquill also caught three passes for 82 yards and one score to go along with an interception. Drue Tranquill ran for 93 yards and two scores, and Chandler Boggs passed for 162 yards and two scores for the Chargers (8-2).

Piercen Harnish rambled for 176 yards and two touchdowns in Norwell's 45-28 win over Columbia City (3-7) in Class 4A Sectional 20 action. Trevor Bolt threw for three touchdowns, two going to Dayne Asplund, for the Knights (5-5).

Austin Mack had 203 yards receiving and one score as F.W. Bishop Luers (1-9) got into the win column for the first time with a 41-3 win over West Noble (3-7) in Class 3A Sectional 27 play.

Jaylin Bennett scampered for 290 yards and three touchdowns, leading Woodlan (7-3) to a 57-26 win over Central Noble in Class 2A Sectional 34 action.

D'Wayne Eskridge tallied 216 yards rushing and five touchdowns, lifting Bluffton (5-5) to a 62-24 win over Eastern (Greentown) in a Class 2A Sectional 35 contest. Austin Bates passed for 127 yards and three touchdowns, and Papee Byers ran for 102 yards and one score for Eastern (2-8).

Evan Matlock and Tim Blankenberger scored two touchdowns apiece as Northwestern (7-3) rolled to a 42-17 win over Blackford (1-9) in Class 3A Sectional 28 play.

Ariest Vasquez rushed for 295 yards and four touchdowns, guiding New Haven (9-1) to a 47-14 win over F.W. South (3-7) in a Class 4A Sectional 20 opener.

Chase Ellsworth ran for 103 yards and one touchdown, helping Bellmont to a 35-13 win against Whitko in Class 3A Sectional 27 play. John Septon added a pair of touchdown catches for the Braves (5-5). Zach Baughman recorded 12.5 tackles for the Wildcats (7-3).

Kane Johnson and Cody Conwell both went over the 100-yard mark on the ground in Churubusco's 28-13 win against Eastside (4-6) in Class 2A Sectional 34 action. Johnson tallied 189 yards and one touchdown, and Conwell added 131 yards and two scores for the Eagles (8-2).

Kyle Baker romped for 216 yards and a touchdown, lifting Adams Central (6-4) to a 34-7 win over North Miami (1-9) in Class 1A Sectional 43 play.

Drew Johnson established a new school record for receiving yards with 134 yards and two touchdowns as Alexandria (7-3) downed Frankton (1-9) in a Class 2A Sectional 36 contest. It was the final game for longtime Frankton coach Otis Cress, who retires after 29 seasons with 177-131 record.

Maurice Woodard romped for 133 yards and three touchdowns, leading West Lafayette to a 50-12 win over Delta (6-4) in Class 3A Sectional 28 action. Parker Ronchetto tossed for 247 yards and three scores, and Kyle Turner added seven catches for 110 yards and two tallies for the Red Devils (9-1).

Jackson Anthrop ran for two touchdowns and caught a pass for a third score, lifting Lafayette Central Catholic to 51-0 blanking of North Putnam (1-9) in a Class Sectional 35 opener. Ty Preston added three scoring passes and ran for another score for the Knights (9-1).

Garrett Johnson tallied 218 yards rushing and three touchdowns, guiding Delphi to a 21-7 win against Benton Central in a Class 2A Sectional 35 contest. Freshman Weston Windell threw for 103 yards for the Oracles (5-5). Gunther Balensiefer had 99 yards on the ground and 88 yards receiving and one score for the Bison (1-9).

Bryant Isabell carried the football 32 times for 230 yards and three touchdowns, leading Merrillville to a 39-18 win over Lafayette Jeff in Class 6A Sectional 1 play. D.J. Wilkins chipped in 147 yards passing and one score along with 83 yards rushing for the Pirates (9-1). Darian Green ran for 136 yards and one score, Jeff Johnson passed for 121 yards, and Irving Madden recorded two interceptions for the Broncos (1-9).

Tyler Wireman ran for two scores, helping Frontier (2-8) roll past South Newton, 28-12, in Class 1A Sectional 42 action. Jon Dafcik tossed for 115 yards and one touchdown and ran for 116 yards and another score for South Newton (1-9).

Koby Pierce was 5-of-5 passing for 177 yards and four touchdowns in Fountain Central's 68-12 drubbing of Riverton Parke (1-9) in Class 1A Sectional 47 play. Jared Fishero added two scores on the ground for the Mustangs (9-1).

Jaden Reneau rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns, lifting Carroll (Flora) to a 40-22 win over North White in Class 1A Sectional 42 action. Brandon Dillon added two rushing scores for the Cougars (6-4). Connor Cain ran for 150 yards and one score and had an interception for the Vikings (5-5).

Brady Sheridan passed for 279 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 116 yards and two more scores, leading Attica to a 54-0 blanking of Covington (2-8) in a Class 1A Sectional 47 contest. Carson Davis hauled in four passes for 164 yards and three touchdowns and also intercepted two passes, and Lance Whorrall chipped in two touchdowns catches and an interception for the Red Ramblers (7-3).

Quentin Douglass raced for 187 yards and five touchdowns and passed for 89 yards and another tally as Caston (3-7) cruised to a 48-14 win over Tri-County in Class 1A Sectional 42 play. Blake Justice tossed for 169 yards and two scores for Tri-County (4-6).

James Brandenberg ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns and returned a fumble 37 yards for another score in Frankfort's 31-13 win over Logansport (3-7) in Class 4A Sectional 20 action. Isaac Rudd threw for 103 yards and one score, and Eian Stidham caught a pass for a touchdown and also ran for a score for the Hot Dogs (5-5).

Dylan Wright passed for two touchdowns in Rensselaer Central's 52-19 thrashing of Hammond Bishop Noll (5-5) in a Class 2A Sectional 33 contest. Trevor Hill had a scoring run and catch, and Ryan Arihood rushed for 107 yards for the Bombers (8-2).

Gabe Koontz rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns, lifting Edgewood (5-5) to a 41-7 win against Crawfordsville in Class 3A Sectional 29 play. Travis Harris passed for 299 yards and one score for Crawfordsville (0-10).

Nathaniel Farabee rushed for two touchdowns and caught a pass for a third tally, leading Southmont to a 56-12 triumph over Taylor in a Class 2A Sectional 35 opener. Chance Brown chipped in 106 yards rushing with a scoring run and catch, and Zach Worm added 103 yards on the ground and two scores for the Mounties (4-6). Logan Lozano passed for 160 yards and two scores for the Titans (0-10).

Ben Lehman ran for 220 yards and two touchdowns in Western's 41-28 win over Mississinewa in a Class 3A Sectional 28 contest. Drew Bellus added three scores on the ground for the Panthers (9-1). Blake Dailey had 181 yards rushing for the Indians (6-4).

Calvin Daggett and Max Norris combined for more than 240 yards rushing and four touchdowns, leading Center Grove to a 70-14 thrashing of New Albany in Class 6A Sectional 8 action. Daggett had 152 yards on the ground and two scores and Norris added 93 yards and two tallies on five attempts. Luke Calvert completed all four of his passes for 81 yards and one score for the Trojans (9-1). Zach Donan threw for 112 yards and two scores for the Bulldogs (6-4).

Curtis Collins and Taylor Sanders both surpassed the 100-yard mark rushing, lifting Indianapolis Pike to a 57-7 drubbing of Brownsburg (3-7) in a Class 6A Sectional 5 semifinal game. Collins had 106 yards and one touchdown and Sanders added 105 yards. Brent Lyles passed for 96 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score, and Derrick Wilkerson added nine carries for 89 yards and two tallies for the Red Devils (6-4).

Nolan Ayers was 7-of-7 through the air for 176 yards and three touchdowns in Indianapolis Scecina's 38-13 win over Centerville in Class 2A Sectional 38 action. Drew Tucker had three rushes for 116 yards and one score for the Crusaders (8-2). Bryce Robinson rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs (5-5).

Conner Faulkner carried the ball 19 times for 131 yards and four touchdowns, helping Hamilton Heights to a 55-7 win over Lawrenceburg in a Class 3A Sectional 30 opener. Faulkner also caught a touchdown pass, Monte Reed added 135 yards through the air and two scores, and Grant Weatherford ran for a score, caught a pass for another tally, and returned a kickoff 81 yards for a third touchdown for the Huskies (8-2). Sam Fette tossed for 177 yards and one score for the Tigers (7-3).

Justin Brent ran for 163 yards and two touchdowns and caught a pass for a third score, leading Speedway to a 35-9 win over Park Tudor (2-8) in a Class 2A Sectional 37 contest. Nick McCormick chipped in 124 yards passing and one score for the Sparkplugs (7-3).

Austin Hoover romped for 215 yards and seven touchdowns on 15 attempts, leading Sheridan (5-5) to a 66-0 shutout over Indianapolis Arlington (3-5) in Class 1A Sectional 44 play.

Shakir Paschall ran for a pair of scores as Carmel breezed to 40-7 win over Hamilton Southeastern (7-3) in a Class 6A Sectional 4 semifinal game. Isaac James added 104 yards rushing for the Greyhounds (7-3).

James Gilbert tallied 228 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, lifting Indianapolis Tech to a 28-14 win over Franklin Central (4-6) in Class 6A Sectional 7 play. Malik Hairston added 102 yard rushing and one score for the Titans (5-5).

Dylan Walker's 30-yard field goal in the third quarter helped Indian Creek post a 17-14 win over previously unbeaten Batesville in a Class 3A Sectional 30 contest. Brenden Smith ran for 205 yards and two scores for the Braves (8-2). Connor Schuck tossed for 94 yards and two scores for the Bulldogs (9-1).

Zac Butler raced for 266 yards and four touchdowns, leading Cascade to a 37-14 win against Cloverdale in Class 2A Sectional 37 play. Sawyer Donovan passed for 158 yards for the Cadets (6-4). Mark Osmialowski threw for 278 yards and two touchdown passes, Wade Warren added five catches for 111 yards and two scores, and Max Secrest caught seven passes for 102 yards for the Clovers (1-8).

Maurice Campbell carried the ball 36 times for 236 yards and one score, helping Fishers avenge its only loss with a 17-13 win over Noblesville in a Class 6A Sectional 4 thriller. Connor Christiensen tossed for 127 yards and one score for the Tigers (9-1). T.C. McKiernan passed for 224 yards and one touchdown and ran for 94 yards for the Millers (5-5).

John Gallman rushed for 138 yards and four touchdowns and ran a punt back 37 yards for another score, lifting Greenwood (5-5) to a 48-32 win over South Dearborn in Class 4A Sectional 23 play. Evan oatman threw for 241 yards and five touchdowns, and K.J. Prost had nine catches for 110 yards and two scores for South Dearborn (0-10).

Christian Perry became Southport's single season rushing leader with 207 yards and two touchdowns in a 45-15 Class 6A Sectional 7 semifinal win over Perry Meridian (5-5).  Perry now has 2,113 yards this season. Luke Johnston passed for 223 yards and three scores, and Chinoyo Ahiri ran for 137 yards and caught two touchdown passes for the Cardinals (10-0).

LeVante Bellamy romped for 232 yards and two touchdowns as Brebeuf Jesuit rolled to a 48-14 win over North Montgomery in Class 3A Sectional 29 play. Bellamy also caught a touchdown pass, and Aaron Banks tossed for 135 yards and two scores and ran for 78 yards and another tally for the Braves (7-3). Jalen West tossed for 227 yards and one score and ran for 49 yards and one score for the Chargers (7-3).

Brandon Scott ran for 104 yards and the game's lone touchdown, leading Lake Central to a 9-6 win over Crown Point in a Class 6A Sectional 1 semifinal game. Ethan Darter passed for 168 yards, and Antwan Davis added nine catches for 131 yards for the Indians (8-2). Jake Jattis ran for 011 yards and threw for 86, and Evan Markowitz connected on field goals of 26 and 30 yards for the Bulldogs (6-4).

Martayveus Carter combined for more than 250 total yards and four touchdowns in East Chicago Central's 26-21 win over Hammond Morton in Class 4A Sectional 17 play. Carter rushed for 174 yards and three scores and caught five passes for 81 yards and another tally, and Carlos Fernandez tossed for 119 yards and one score for the Cardinals (8-2). Torey Armstrong had 130 yards through the air and one touchdown for the Governors (8-2).

Michael Hubbard's nine-yard touchdown run in overtime lifted Bowman Academy to a 26-20 win over River Forest in Class 2A Sectional 33 play. James Taylor added two scoring runs for the Eagles (5-5). Malachi Sala rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns, and Brandon Laas chipped in nine tackles and three fumble recoveries, including one for a touchdown, for the Ingots (5-5).

Antonio Suarez rushed for 102 yards and three touchdowns, lifting Griffith to a 50-36 win against Hammond Clark in Class 4A Sectional 17 action. Justin Green added 13 rushes for 145 yards and one score, and Kyle Buikema ran for two touchdowns and passed for a third for the Panthers (3-7). Justin Martinez passed for 396 yards and five touchdowns, and Kensha Funches added three receptions for 102 yards and two scores for the Pioneers (2-8).

De'Shone Robertson ran for three touchdowns and caught a pass for a fourth score as Hammond (4-6) blanked Gary Roosevelt (0-10) in Class 3A Sectional 25 play.

Ian Hardy tallied 130 yards rushing and three touchdowns as Highland (5-5) cruised to a 55-6 win over Hammond Gavit (2-8) in a Class 4A Sectional 17 opener.

Jake Purichia threw for 282 yards and four touchdowns, leading Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter to a 58-20 win over Indianapolis Washington in Class 2A Sectional 37 play. Jeff Cmehil had five catches for 105 yards and one score, and Kyree Hollis added four receptions for 106 yards and one score for the Raiders (8-2).  Deontz Alexander paced the Continentals (5-5) with 128 yards rushing and two scores.

Cam Smock connected on all five of his passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns, guiding Indianapolis Roncalli to a 48-6 win over Mooresville in Class 4A Sectional 22 action. Colin McManama added two scores on the ground for the Rebels (7-3). Cody Cannon passed for 164 yards for the Pioneers (1-9).

Autry Pickens galloped for 360 yards and six touchdowns and caught a pass for another tally, lifting Danville to a 77-12 win over Indianapolis Northwest (1-9) in a Class 4A Sectional 22 opener. Ben Jones added two scores, including a 79-yard kickoff return for the Warriors (3-7).

Alex Kimack paced a balanced attack with 175 yards rushing and one touchdown as Indianapolis Bishop Chatard downed Northview (7-3), 48-7, in a Class 4A Sectional 22 contest. Sam Jost ran for two scores, and Stan Jackson had two tallies, including a 79-yard kickoff return for the Trojans (7-3).

Jeff George passed for 223 yards, lifting Warren Central to a 14-0 win over Lawrence Central (3-7) in Class 6A Sectional 6 play. Zach Gegner added six receptions for 154 yards for the Warriors (7-3).

Terry McLaurin exploded for 312 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 18 attempts, helping Indianapolis Cathedral to a 54-26 win over Decatur Central in Class 5A Sectional 13 action. Evan Christopher and Caleb Cross added two scores each for the Irish (5-5). Tommy Stevens passed for 213 yards and rushed for 138 yards, and Cameron Evans rushed for two touchdowns for the Hawks (5-5).

Kevin Johnson rushed for 210 yards and two touchdowns and converted all six of his extra-point attempts, leading Edinburgh to a 42-20 win over North Decatur in Class 1A Sectional 46 play. Elliott Parmer rushed for two scores, and Bobby Simpson passed and ran for scores for the Titans (5-5). Donovan Meyer tallied three touchdowns on the ground for the Chargers (2-8).

Wes Cook rushed for 163 yards and scored five touchdowns, lifting Tri-West to a 47-41 win over Greencastle in Class 3A Sectional 29 thriller. Jake Hendershot added 313 yards passing and two touchdowns, and Colton Jobe caught seven passes for 110 yards for the Bruins (8-2). Tyler Scott tossed for 137 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score, Seth Brown caught nine passes for 140 yards and two scores, and Alec Pettit rushed for 145 yards and threw a touchdown pass for the Tiger Cubs (8-2).

Alec Lohman recorded 279 yard rushing with five touchdowns and caught a pass for a sixth score as Mount Vernon (Fortville) cruised to a 49-14 win over Beech Grove in Class 4A Sectional 21 play. Mitch Waldrod added two scoring passes for the Marauders (8-2). Chase Andries tossed for 195 yards and ran for a score for the Hornets (2-8).

Jamason Wright and Isaac Harker combined for almost 400 yards rushing, helping Lebanon post a 35-24 win over Plainfield in Class 4A Sectional 22 action. Wright had 158 yards and three touchdowns, and Harker tallied 233 yards and two scores for the Tigers (8-2). Brady Nichols threw for 247 yards and one touchdown, and Jacob Maple added two scores on the ground for the Quakers (4-6).

Matthew Labus passed for 198 yards and three touchdowns, guiding Guerin Catholic to 31-0 upset of Rushville (6-4) in Class 3A Sectional 30 play. Brian Matthews ran for two scores for the Golden Eagles (3-7).
