THE INDIANA FOOTBALL DIGEST'S 2014 HONOR ROLL – WEEK TWO PLAYOFFS

TOP PERFORMERS

Austin Hoover carried the football 56 times for 487 yards and eight touchdowns, leading Sheridan (7-4) to a 60-24 win over Clinton Central in Class 1A Sectional 44 action. Jalen Moore ran for 135 yards and on one score, and Keenan Orr chipped in 147 total yards and two scores for Clinton Central (5-5).

Justin Mersch romped 13 times for 185 yards and six touchdowns, lifting Pioneer to a 63-14 thrashing of North White (6-5) in a Class 1A Sectional 42 semifinal contest. Austin Mersch added 89 yards on the ground and two scores for the Pioneers (10-1).

Joe Hart proved to be a workhorse with 46 carries for 292 yards, three touchdowns, and a two-point conversion, helping Lapel (5-6) to a 20-12 upset of Alexandria in Class 2A Sectional 36 play. Blaize Kelly had 116 yards of offense and one touchdown, and Evan Hodges added 91 yards rushing and one tally for Alexandria (9-2).

Elvin Caldwell ran 21 times for 121 yards and four touchdowns as Westfield upset top-ranked and previously unbeaten McCutcheon in Class 5A Sectional 11 semifinal action. Ryan Sweet added 121 total yards, and Matt Crupi recorded 11 tackles for the Shamrocks (6-4). Blake Elming had 77 yards on the ground and one score for the Mavericks (9-1).

Tanner Bradley scampered 24 times for 233 yards and three touchdowns, guiding defending champion Mishawaka to a 35-21 win over Munster in a Class 5A Sectional 8 semifinal contest. Darian Phillips added 22 carries for 104 yards and two scores, and Kyle Edwards recorded 14 tackles for the Cavemen (9-2). Adam Ostoich ran for two scores for the Mustangs (7-3).

Nick Brassell ran five times for 200 yards and four touchdowns as New Prairie cruised to a 67-3 win against Kankakee Valley (6-5) in Class 4A Sectional 18 semifinal play. Tyler Weller added five carries for 145 yards and two scores, and Drake Dierdorf added 11 yards and two tallies on three attempts for the Cougars (10-1) as they accumulated 600 yards rushing and established a new record for points scored in a game.

Max Norris rambled for 177 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries, helping Center Grove claim the Class 6A Sectional 8 crown with a 54-7 win over Columbus North. Titus McCoy added two scores on the ground for the Trojans (8-3) Mitchell Barton ran for 95 yards and one score for the Bulldogs (5-6).

Riley Neal passed and ran for more than 100 yards in Yorktown's 44-8 thrashing of Western (3-8) in a Class 3A Sectional 28 semifinal contest. Neal had 109 yards through the air and one touchdown and carried the ball 22 times for 139 yards and three scores. Jacob Stevenson had 14 rushes for 124 yards and one touchdown, Blake Midlam recorded 14 tackles, and Carson Moore recovered two fumbles for the Tigers (10-1).

Timmy Herrin accounted for the game-winning two-point conversion with 12.7 seconds left, helping Terre Haute South rally for a 28-27 win over Castle (6-4) in Class 5A Sectional 16 action. Herrin passed for 156 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 179 yards, and Dante Johnson caught a pass and ran for scores for the Braves (9-1).

Markell Jones romped 34 times for 313 yards and four touchdowns, leading defending state champion and top-ranked Columbus East to a 48-10 win over Madison (6-5) in a Class 4A Sectional 23 affair. K.J. McCarter completed all four of his passes for 54 yards and one score and rushed for 100 yards and one tally for the Olympians (11-0).

Parker Fox was 10-of-14 for 169 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for a pair of scores as top-ranked Winamac downed No. 4 Whiting in Class 1A Sectional 41 semifinal action. Andrew Risner added 118 yards rushing and two scores, and Mitch Reed and Maverick Schultz added 11 tackles apiece for the Warriors (11-0). Stuart Glascow tossed for 239 yards and one touchdown and ran for other scores, and Martin Petruf added seven receptions for 110 yards for the Oilers (10-1).

Jake Paige was 12-of-20 passing for 275 yards and four touchdowns and also ran for two scores, helping top-ranked and defending state champion Andréa to a 56-21 win over Mishawaka Marian in a Class 3A Sectional 25 semifinal contest. Jamie Johnson had seven catches for 207 yards and three scores and added two more tallies on the ground as the 59ers (11-0) scored on their first six possessions of the second half. Devin Canady tossed for 99 yards and one score and ran for 78 yards and two touchdowns for the Knights (8-3).

Matt Labs threw a pair of touchdown passes, leading Guerin Catholic (8-3) to a 21-13 win against Batesville in Class 3A Sectional semifinal play. Connor Shuck tallied 148 yards of offense for Batesville (8-3).

Mason Led and Ben Norton scored touchdowns as Lavelle (8-3) posted 15-0 win over Triton (3-8) in Class 1A Sectional 41 semifinal action.

Dylan Guldager intercepted three passes, returning one of them 40 yards for a touchdown, leading Jimtown (8-3) to a 21-0 shutout over Rochester (9-2) in a Class 3A Sectional 26 semifinal contest.

Travis Schlabach, Cam Ridenour, and Payton Carson all went over the 100-yard rushing mark as Northridge cruised to a 51-6 win over East Noble in Class 4A Sectional 19 action. Schlabach ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns, Ridenour added 108 yards and three scores, and Carson tallied 111 yards and one score for the Raiders (9-2), who established a new-school best with 441 yards on the ground. Jake Torrie had 66 yards receiving and one score for the Knights (7-4).

Peyton Sturgill carried the football 36 times for 169 yards and a touchdown, lifting Peru to a 19-7 win over Culver Academy in Class 3A Sectional 26 play. Nolan Brimbury chipped in 105 yards on the ground and one score for the Bengal Tigers (5-6). Jesse Brownfield tossed for 122 yards and one score for the Eagles (4-7).

Kiante Enis scampered 27 times for 295 yards and five touchdowns, helping Winchester to a 33-12 win against Centerville in Class 2A Sectional action. Titus Edwards added 26 tackles for the Golden Falcons (10-1).  Mitchell Burelison ran 44 times for 143 yards and two scores for the Bulldogs (6-5).

Jeff Cmehil tallied 142 yards of offense with a touchdown pass, two runs for scores, and three interceptions, leading defending state champion Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter to 41-0 shutout over Park Tudor in a Class 2A Sectional 37 contest. Tommy Waites ran 23 times for 218 yards and one score, and Andre Guy added four carries for 103 yards and one score along with a reception for a touchdown for the Raiders (7-4). Ahrod Lloyd had 92 yards rushing for the Panthers (2-9).

Johan Thacker carried the ball 37 times for 220 yards and five touchdowns, lifting Triton Central (10-1) to a 51-0 win over Providence (7-4) in Class 2A Sectional 39 action.

Jaden Rhea, Trevor Ellis, and Garrison Lee accounted for 482 yards on the ground and six touchdowns as Monrovia rolled a 41-7 win over South Vermillion in Class 2A Sectional 37 semifinal play. Rhea ran for 204 yards and two scores, Ellis had 189 yards and two scores, and Lee tallied 89 yards and two touchdowns. Jeremiah Welty chipped in 11 tackles for the Bulldogs (9-2). Jordan Brantz had 113 yards of offense and one score for the Wildcats (4-7).

Adam Lovan ran 17 times for 142 yards and had a fumble recovery for a touchdown in Shenandoah's 28-0 blanking of Heritage Christian (8-3) in Class 2A Sectional 38 play. Hunter Hess added 18 carries for 131 yards and one score, and Dalton Hatcher found the end zone twice for the Raiders (9-2).

Cam Eveland hauled in a pair of touchdown passes, including the game-winning 38-yard strike from Jack Barron, helping Plymouth rally for a 28-21 win over South Bend St. Joseph in Class 4A Sectional 18 semifinal action. Eveland also had a fumble recovery, and Barron was 7-of-10 through the air for 118 yards and ran for 119 yards and one tally for the Rockies (11-0). Brendan Connelly had 17 carries for 11 yards and one score for the Indians (7-3).

Jake Hendershot racked up 192 yards of offense and the deciding four-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter as Tri-West slipped past Brebeuf Jesuit, 14-7, in a Class 3A Sectional 29 contest. Wesley Cook added 121 yards on the ground and one tally for the Bruins (10-1). LaVante Bellamy rushed for 113 yards and one score, and Aaron Banks had 115 total yards for the Braves (7-4). 

Cullen Fisher threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a fourth tally, leading defending champion Concord to a 29-0 shutout over Elkhart Memorial (1-9) in Class 5A Sectional 10 action. Matt Wilmore had a pair of scoring catches for the Minutemen (7-3).

Kray Klopfenstein was 6-of-8 through the air for 114 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third tally in Leo's 28-7 win over NorthWood in a Class 4A Sectional 19 semifinal affair. Tyler Hensinger had 29 carries for 161 yards, and Jordan Hissong chipped in 128 yards of offense and two scores for the Lions (9-2). Trey Bilinski tossed for 137 yards and one score for the Panthers (6-5).

Charles Salary registered 44 carries for 248 yards and one touchdown, guiding LaPorte (5-5) to a 24-0 blanking of Michigan City (4-6) in Class 5A Sectional 9 play.

Joe Phillips rambled for 180 yards and two touchdowns in Elkhart Central's 47-8 win over Goshen (0-10) in a Class 5A Sectional semifinal contest. Micah Johnson added fumble recovery and interception for scores for the Blazers (4-6).

Matt Box tossed for 178 yards and three touchdowns, lifting Bremen to a 42-28 win over Wabash in Class 2A Sectional 34 action. Brett Louderback had 19 rushes for 113 yards and two scores, and Ryan Topper added seven receptions for 155 yards and two tallies for the Lions (6-5). Chase Dirig threw for 253 yards and one score and ran for 73 yards and two tallies, and Grant Dirig had seven receptions for 107 yards and one score for the Apaches (2-9).

Tyler Carpenter and Camden Bohn ran for two touchdowns apiece as defending champion Penn rolled to a 41-6 win over Chesterton in the Class 6A Sectional 2 final. The Kingsmen (11-0) came away with eight Chesterton (6-5) fumbles.

Cody Colbert and Cody Howell combined for over 250 yards rushing and five touchdowns as defending state champion Tri-Central rolled to a 47-6 win over Indianapolis Shortridge (8-3) in Class 1A Sectional 44 play. Colbert ran 20 times for 154 yards and two scores, while Howell added nine rushes for 122 yards and three tallies for the Trojans (10-1).

Cameron Greene and Daniel Wright both rambled for more than 100 yards on the ground, leading Lafayette Harrison to a 17-14 win over Kokomo in Class 5A Sectional 11 play. Greene ad 23 rushes for 152 yards and one score, and Wright added 119 yards and one tally. Dakota Manion racked up 11 tackles for the Raiders (7-3). Cheyenne Battreal had a fumble recovery for a touchdown, and Cameron Fitts tallied 15 tackles for the Wildkats (6-4).

Chase Blotkamp found the end zone three times as Carroll (Fort Wayne) blanked Homestead, 28-0, for the Class 6A Sectional 3 title. Alex Anzeveno ran for 107 yards for the Chargers 911-0). It marked the first time the Spartans (8-3) were blanked since 2006.

Noah Wezensky completed 12-of-16 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns, leading Fort Wayne Bishop Luers to a 33-9 win at Heritage in Class 3A Sectional play. C.J. McCarter ran for a pair of scores, and Austin added scoring catch and run for the Knights (9-2). Justyn Hart carried the ball 17 times for 133 yards and one score for the Patriots (7-4).

Jeff Durkes exploded for 219 yards on the ground and three touchdowns on 37 carries, leading Oak Hill to a 44-6 win over Bluffton in A Class 2A Sectional 36 contest. Zack Daniels added 11 carries for 110 yards and two scores for the Golden Eagles (9-2). Zach Wilson registered 11 tackles for the Tigers (3-8).

Trevor Bolt's 14-yard touchdown pass to Dayne Asplund paved the way as Columbia City edged New Haven, 7-3, in Class 4A Sectional 20 semifinal game. Braden Myer ran for 123 yards for the Eagles (5-6), while Nishawn Jones paced the Bulldogs (7-4) with 114 yards on the ground.

Keion Powers scampered for 284 yards and five touchdowns, helping Fort Wayne Wayne (9-1) to a 40-35 win over Fort Wayne North in Class 5A Sectional 12 play. Aaron Nieves accumulated 140 total yards and two scores, and Keyshawn Watson ran for 100 yards for North (3-7).

Tommy Stevens ran for two touchdowns, including the game-winning 13-yard romp with 31 seconds left, lifting Decatur Central to a 24-20 win over Zionsville in Class 5A Sectional 13 action. Stevens also threw a touchdown pass for the Hawks (8-2). Drew Bertram tossed for 113 yards and one score, Matt Penola had 19 carries for 121 yards and one score, and Blake Kocher recorded 14 tackles for the Eagles (3-7).

Isaac Stiebeling threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran for a third tally, leading Fort Wayne Snider (8-2) to a 30-21 win over Huntington North in Class 5A Sectional 12 play. Jackson Powell recorded 11 tackles for North (5-5).

Mitchell VanBrocklin ran 40 times for 297 yards and three touchdowns as Woodlan held on for a 29-26 win over Eastside in Class 2A Sectional 34 action. Shawn Kitzmiller added 107 yards of offense, a touchdown catch, and 13 tackles, while Blake Acosta came up with a game-clinching interception in the closing seconds for the Warriors (8-3). P.J. Dean rushed for 274 yards and four touchdowns and racked up 14 tackles for the Blazers (9-2).

Caleb Cross tallied three touchdowns in defending state champion Indianapolis Cathedral's 70-0 blanking of Anderson in Class 5A Sectional 13 play. Evan Christopher ran for 98 yards and one score, and Max Bortenschlager threw for a pair of scores for the Irish (5-5). The Indians (2-8) were held to minus-33 yards of offense.

Luke Johnston tossed for 194 yards and three touchdowns, lifting Southport to a 28-18 win over Franklin Central (3-8) for the Class 6A Sectional 7 crown. Andrew Mappes ran for 108 yards and one score, and Cardell Tucker had three touchdown receptions for the Cardinals (9-2).

Piercen Harnish rambled for 182 yards and four touchdowns, leading Norwell (5-6) to a 41-7 win over Marion in Class 4A Sectional 20action. Wyatt Brown tallied 11 tackles for Marion (1-10).

Chris Perkins carried the ball 18 times for 118 yards and two touchdowns, guiding top-ranked Carmel (11-0) to a 14-7 win over Fishers for the Class 6A Sectional 4 title. Maurice Campbell rushed for 209 yards for Fishers (7-4).

Bryit Sumner rushed 27 times for 178 yards and three touchdowns, helping Garrett to a 34-12 win over Bellmont in a Class 3A Sectional 27 semifinal contest. Bo Davis chipped in 103 yards on the ground and one score for the Railroaders (8-3). Josh Brune tallied 128 yards rushing and one score for the Braves (6-5).

Damonte Williams and Tirone Young both ran for over 100 yards and one touchdown as Warren Central blanked Lawrence Central (4-7) for the Class 6A Sectional 6 title. Williams tallied 102 yards, Young had 104 yards, and Jordan Leach added 162 total yards for the Warriors (9-2).

Chris Evans carried the football 27 times for 202 yards and three touchdowns, lifting Ben Davis to a 34-27 win over Avon in the Class 6A Sectional 5 championship game. Dorian Tate added 16 rushes for 108 yards for the Giants (9-2). Brandon Peters passed for 153 yards and one score and ran for 71 yards and another tally, and Derrick Tennant added 139 yards on the ground and one score for the Orioles (8-3).

D.J. Wilkins accumulated 100 yards of offense and one touchdown in Merrillville's (6-5) 21-19 upset of Lake Central for the Class 6A Sectional title. Brandon Scott had 84 yards rushing and one score for Lake Central (9-2).

Drew LeFever scampered for 123 yards and three touchdowns, leading South Adams to a 26-7 win over Northfield in Class 1A Sectional 43 play. Derek Wanner chipped in 102 yard on the ground and one score for the Starfires (5-6). Josh Bickel ran for 105 yards and a touchdown for the Norsemen (7-3).

Nate Fries had 22 rushes for 96 yards and two scores as Indianapolis Roncalli snapped Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's (8-3) 39-game sectional winning streak with a 31-6 triumph in Class 4A Sectional 22 action. Patrick Sandler booted four extra-points and a 21-yard field goal for the Rebels (6-5).

Shaw Cloud ran the ball 29 times for 193 yards and a touchdown, lifting defending champion Whiteland to a 19-6 win over Franklin (3-7) in Class 5A Sectional 14 play. Anthony Schantz added two scores on the ground for the Warriors (7-3).

Drayke Richardt accumulated 142 yards rushing and four touchdowns, leading Evansville Mater Dei to a 35-7 win against defending champion Southridge (7-3) in a Class 2A Sectional 40 contest. Richardt also had a fumble recovery for the Wildcats (11-0).

Blake Carl tallied a touchdown and the game-winning two-point conversion with 6:55 remaining in the fourth quarter, helping Floyd Central to an 8-7 win over Jennings County in Class 5A Sectional 14 action. Carl also tallied 14 tackles for the Highlanders (6-4). Conner Byram had a two-yard scoring run for the Panthers (1-9).

Nick Sellers tossed for 163 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score, guiding Gibson Southern to a 57-13 win against Mount Vernon (Posey) (5-6) in a Class 3A Sectional 32 semifinal contest. John Kissel added 19 rushes for 145 yards and two scores, and Nick Bengert recorded 10 tackles for the Titans (10-1).

Marquise Holt romped for 104 yards and two touchdowns, leading Bloomington South past Bedford North Lawrence (4-6) in Class 5A Sectional 15 play. Tabin Breedlove added two scores on the ground, and Ryan Freeman tallied 10 tackles for the Panthers (10-1).

Sean Schaefer and Kenton Crews ran for two touchdowns apiece, helping Heritage Hills to a 49-0 blanking of Evansville Bosse (2-9) in Class 3A Sectional 32 action. Crews added 121 yards rushing, and Logan Wilkerson added 118 total yards with a touchdown pass for the Patriots (10-1).

Tylor Martens carried the ball 26 times for 214 yards and two touchdowns in Martinsville's 32-28 win over defending champion Bloomington North (4-6) in a Class 5A Sectional 15 contest. Josh LaRue passed for 126 yards and two touchdowns to Ryan Thomas for the Artesians (7-3).

Logan Grim rambled 23 times for 224 yards and four touchdowns as defending champion Terre Haute North raced past Evansville North, 45-9, in Class 5A Sectional 16 play. Nick Barrett added 119 yards on the ground for the Patriots (5-5). Ford Johnson ran for 101 yards, and Mason Jenkins returned a punt 97 yards for a touchdown for the Huskies (3-7).

Lance Inkenbrandt had 22 carries for 162 yards and four touchdowns, leading North Posey to a 42-21 win over Tell City in Class 2A Sectional 40 action. Dalton Rankin added 105 yards on the ground and one score for the Vikings (8-3). Gant Miller tallied 203 yards rushing and three scores for the Marksmen (3-8).

Jordan Meurer raced for 164 yards and two touchdowns, helping North Knox to a 28-8 win against Tecumseh (6-4) in Class 1A Sectional 48 play. Caden Fields tallied 14 tackles for the Warriors (9-2).

Tate Blessinger found the end zone four times as Jasper rolled to a 35-20 win over Evansville Central in Class 4A Sectional 24 action. Jared Bertram recorded 111 tackles for the Wildcats (10-1). Tias Stewart racked up 118 yards of offense with a scoring run and reception and an 82-yard kickoff return for another tally for the Bears (4-6).

Alex Neligh ran for 84 yards and three touchdowns and threw for 55 yards and another score, leading defending champion New Palestine to a 74-0 shutout of New Castle in a Class 4A Sectional 21 semifinal action. Sterling Curran added two scores, while Solomon Fair and Joseph Izbicki recorded 10 tackles apiece for the Dragons (11-0). Dylan Darling had 12 tackles for the Trojans (1-9).

Malik Higgins rushed 13 times for 188 yards and three touchdowns and returned a punt 45 yards for another score, lifting Evansville Reitz to a 35-10 win over Owen Valley in Class 4A Sectional 24 play. A.J. Dixon added 107 yards on the ground, and Trevor Fetscher racked up 13 tackles for the Panthers (10-1). Evan Wood accumulated 203 total yards with a touchdown pass, and Brandt White added 13 tackles for the Patriots (8-3).

Chase Andries racked up 132 yards of offense with three touchdown runs and scoring throw in Beech Grove's 46-0 blanking of Pendleton Heights in Class 4A Sectional 21 action. Ryan Ward added 17 carries for 163 yards and two scores for the Hornets (7-4). Chase Cochran raced for 94 yards for the Arabians (4-7).

Dylan Foster romped 35 times for 236 yards and one touchdown, guiding Plainfield to a 28-13 win over Northview in Class 4A Sectional 22 play. Jacob Maple chipped in two scoring runs for the Quakers (4-7). Tucker Stewart carried the ball 22 times for 174 yards and one score, Marcus Duregger added 13 tackles, and Lance Rector had 12 stops for the Knights (8-3).

Riggs Baxter and Zach Martin ran for two touchdowns apiece in Western Boone's 35-0 blanking of Edgewood in Class 3A Sectional 29 action. Baxter also caught a pass for a score for the Stars (8-3). Eli Housel racked up 11 tackles for the Mustangs (9-2).

Joe Spegal and Zach Mills combined for over 400 yards on the ground, leading Delta to a 42-0 shutout of Mississinewa (7-4) in Class 3A Sectional 28 play. Spegal had 18 carries for 228 yards and three touchdowns, Mills added five rushes for 173 yards and two scores, and David Smekens recorded 12 tackles for the Eagles (7-4).

Jesse Kerfoot romped for 218 yards and four touchdowns on 21 carries in Hamilton Heights' 31-6 win over Rushville (4-7) in Class 3A Sectional 30 action. Grant Weatherford returned a kickoff 98 yards for a score and recorded 14 tackles for the Huskies (9-2).

Zach Bobos completed 6-of-7 passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score, lifting Lowell to a 41-0 blanking of Gary West (2-9) in Class 4A Sectional 17 play. Ike James added 145 total yards with a scoring run, catch, and 33-yard interception for another tally for the Red Devils (7-4).

Quinton Harris' 32-yard touchdown pass to Miguel Rodriguez with 2:33 left propelled Calumet to a 20-18 win against Knox in Class 3A Sectional 25 semifinal action. Kobe Fowler added 88 yards on the ground and two scores for the Warriors (9-2). Jake Krause had 125 yards rushing and one score, Drew Dan tossed for 127 yards, and Scott Trojan added two scores, including a 36-yard fumble return, for the Redskins (1-9).

Jacob Wasz rambled 21 times for 232 yards and one score, helping Wheeler to a 27-7 victory over Boone Grove (6-5) in Class 2A Sectional 33 play. Jake LaFever chipped in 107 yards of offense and three scores for the Bearcats (10-1). However, LaFever will have to sit out this week's championship game with Rensselaer Central for disciplinary reasons.

Mark Snorton exploded for 201 yards on the ground and three touchdowns on 31 attempts as Hammond Morton (10-1) downed Highland, 28-21, in a Class 4A Sectional 17 semifinal contest. Charlie Gerstner ran 20 times for 149 yards and two scores, and Hunter Rycerz added 27 touches for 103 yards and one tally for Highland (6-5).

Rylan Arihood had seven carries for 78 yards with three touchdowns and three two-point conversions in Rensselaer Central's 60-14 thrashing of Bowman Academy (1-10) in Class 3A Sectional 33 play. Austin Fleming added two scores on the ground and returned an interception for another tally for the Bombers (11-0).

Luke Patton accumulated 136 yards rushing and four touchdowns and tossed for another scores, leading East Central to a 49-12 win over Shelbyville in Class 4A Sectional 23 action. Austin Bowling added 138 yards on the ground and one score to lead the Trojans (8-3) to their eighth straight win. Justin Sueko had a 39-yard interception return for a score, and Nolan Ray recorded 12 tackles for the Golden Bears (5-6).

Antonyo Gaddie scampered for 136 yards and two touchdowns, helping Charleston in a 27-16 upset of previously unbeaten and defending champion Brownstown Central in a Class 3A Sectional 31 semifinal affair. Tristan Chester threw for 124 yards and ran for a score for the Pirates (9-2). Clay Brown passed for 142 yards and two touchdowns to Jacob Wilson for the Braves (10-1).

Hunter Clark and Jake Wilburn scored two touchdowns each, lifting Lewis Cass to a 51-7 win over Benton Central in a Class 2A Sectional 35 contest. Wilburn also had 10 carries for 110 yards for the Kings (10-1). Blake Morin ran for 115 yards, and Connor Ade recorded 14 tackles for the Bison (2-9).

Justyn Wilson, Brandon Dillon, and Dylan Spesard combined for 402 yards on the ground and five touchdowns as Carroll (Flora) blanked Caston (3-8), 52-0, in Class 1A Sectional 42 semifinal play. Wilson had 25 carries for 126 yards and two scones, Dillon added five rushes for 119 yards and two tallies, and Spesard chipped in 157 yards and one score on nine attempts for the Cougars (3-8).

Jackson Anthrop had 11 rushes for 174 yards and four scores in Lafayette Central Catholic's (8-3) 58-6 drubbing of Delphi (5-6) in Class 2A Sectional 35 action.

Daniel Beeks tallied 193 yards on the ground and three touchdowns on 25 carries as Southern Wells downed Southwood, 33-7, in Class 1A Sectional 43 semifinal play. Bryce Bonewit added 12 rushes for 161 yards and two scores, and Landon Cassiday recorded 20 tackles for the Raiders (8-3). Robbie Cole had 159 yards of offense, while Nick Rebholz and Luke Perlich notched 11 tackles each for the Knights (7-4).

Christopher Mundy threw for 284 yards and ran for one score as Indianapolis Howe downed South Decatur, 20-13, in Class 1A Sectional 46 semifinal contest. Jerron McGaw added 222 yards receiving for the Hornets (6-5). Damon Martin ran for 95 yards and one touchdown and racked up 15 tackles for the Cougars (5-6).

Cooper Henderson had 53 carries for 283 yards and three touchdowns, kicked three extra-points, and ran for a two-point conversion, lifting Eastern Hancock to a 35-18 win over Monroe Central in a Class 1A Sectional 45 semifinal affair. Austin Lacy added two scores on the ground for the Royals (9-2). Wyatt Snyder rushed for two touchdowns, and Kaiser Phillips racked up 21 tackles for the Golden Bears (7-4).

Jacob Zoeller and Dalton Nidey both surpassed the 100-yard rushing mark in Indianapolis Lutheran's 47-0 blanking of South Putnam in Class 1A Sectional 46 play. Zoeller had 131 yards and two touchdowns and Nidey added 115 yards and two scores for the Saints (8-3). Lucas Lorian ran for 67 yards for the Eagles (5-6).

Koby Pierce rambled for 104 yards and two touchdowns, helping Fountain Central to a 19-7 win over Rockville in Class 1A Sectional 47 action. Collin Strange added 101 yards on the ground and one score for the Mustangs (9-2), Brandon Cooper passed for 122 yards, Ben Cunningham ran for 121 yards and one score, and Drake Spangler racked 13 tackles for the Rox (7-4).

Joey Claypoole rolled up more than 300 yards of total offense, lifting Northeastern to a 50-13 win over Hagerstown (5-6) in a Class 1A Sectional 45 semifinal contest. Claypoole ran for 124 yards and four touchdowns and completed 7-of-13 passes for 193 yards and two scores. Kelsy Kirkland recorded 150 total yards with a touchdown catch and 10 tackles for the Tigers (11-0).

Ethan Lee scampered for 141 yards and two touchdowns, leading North Vermillion to a 48-0 shutout over Covington in Class 1A Sectional 47 action. Jacob Earl added 13 carries for 135 yards and three scores, and Dakota Chapman recorded 15 tackles for the Falcons (11-0). Garrett Reynolds tallied 17 tackles for the Trojans (5-6).

Tyler Meurer, Mitch Eberhardt, and Austin hale all went over the 100-yard rushing plateau in Linton-Stockton's 63-13 win over Perry Central (8-3) in Class 1A Sectional 48 action. Meurer ran seven times for 101 yards and two touchdowns, Eberhardt added 11 touches for 119 yards, and two scores, while hale tallied 119 yards and three scores on 11 attempts for the Miners (10-1).

North Harrison (4-6) accumulated 395 yards on the ground in a 40-0 blanking of Mitchell (4-7) in Class 3A Sectional 31 play.

Milan (7-4) advanced to the Class 2A Sectional 39 final with a 34-3 win over Eastern (Pekin) (1-10).
