TOP HEADLINES

Brownstown Central coach Reed May picked up his 200th career victory with the Braves' 55-7 triumph over Salem. Now in his 21st season, May has never recorded a losing record.

Culver Military Academy snapped Lafayette Central Catholic's 14-game winning streak with a 14-7 victory over the host Knights. Last season, the Eagles ended LCC's 47-game winning streak with a 14-12 win.

Carmel ended Lawrence Central's 18-game winning streak with a 17-7 triumph. It also stopped the Bears' 19-game regular season streak.

Cloverdale snapped its 17-game regular season losing streak with a 52-0 blanking of Turkey Run.

Penn's 38-0 shutout of Fort Wayne Snider marked the first time Snider was blanked since the 2009 season (10-0 to F.W. Bishop Dwenger). It was also the Panthers' worst loss since a 49-7 setback to Lima (Ohio) in 1967 and snapped their 14-game regular season winning streak.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' 34-7 loss to Leo marks the first time the Knights have ever started the season 0-4.

Perry Central ended Paoli's 10-game Patoka Lake Athletic Conference winning streak with a 24-21 win.

Evansville Bosse's 40-33 triumph over Castle marked its first win over the Knights since 2006.
