Following Jonathan Taylor's historic game in the Colts' Week 10 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons, the running back was nominated for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week. Fans can vote for Taylor here.
In the thrilling 31-25 win, Taylor sparked a fourth-quarter comeback and drove home the victory in overtime when he scored his third rushing touchdown of the day. In total, Taylor had 32 carries for 244 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns; his second touchdown of the day made him the new franchise record-holder for career rushing touchdowns with 65, passing Pro Football Hall of Famer Edgerrin James. The 83-yard touchdown run was the longest of Taylor's career, and the longest by any running back this season.
Sunday marked Taylor's third career game with over 200 rushing yards, and he became the fifth player in NFL history to have three or more career games with 200-plus rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Sunday was also Taylor's fifth game this season with three total touchdowns, as he became the fourth player in NFL history with at least three touchdowns in five games in a single season, joining LaDainian Tomlinson (six), Marshall Faulk (five) and Chuck Foreman (five).
Taylor is the first running back this season to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards, currently at 1,1139, and also leads the league in touchdowns (17 total, 15 rushing), yards per attempt (6.0), yards per game (113.9) and total scrimmage yards (1,399).
For the 2025-26 NFL regular season, FedEx is teaming up with Feeding America to make donations of $2,000 in the name of the winning players ($4,000 total per week) to help combat food insecurity across the country. This marks the first time the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards program will support Feeding America and its nationwide network of local food banks and pantries. Over the course of the entire season, select food banks and pantries will receive grants totaling more than $100,000.
