Colts open 2015 preseason against Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field


The Indianapolis Colts will kickoff the 2015 pre-season schedule with a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. Game time is set for 1 p.m. in Philadelphia, Pa.

The Colts finished the 2014 campaign with an 11-5 regular season record, while earning their second consecutive AFC South Division title. The team also won two postseason contests
and made it back to the AFC Championship Game for the first time since 2009.

Indianapolis was aggressive in free agency and brought in veterans OLB-Trent Cole, RB-Frank Gore, G-Todd Herremans, ILB-Nate Irving, WR-Andre Johnson, DE-Kendall Langford and S-Dwight Lowery. The team also re-signed several key veterans, including S-Mike Adams, S-Colt Anderson, CB-Darius Butler, ILB-Jerrell Freeman, QB-Matt Hasselbeck, RB-Daniel Herron, LS-Matt Overton and G-Joe Reitz.

The Colts selected eight players in the 2015 NFL Draft, headlined by WR-Phillip Dorsett out of Miami (FL) in the first round. The Colts will break training camp at Anderson University on Saturday, Aug. 15. The Colts will return to the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center next week in preparation for the Chicago Bears.
