Colts' Free Agency Announcements Could Be Delayed

Due to a special set of rules put into the place by the National Football League in response to the COVID-19/coronovirus health emergency, the formal announcement of team free agency signings or trades could be delayed.

INDIANAPOLIS — The National Football League is abuzz with all kinds of big moves being reported with Wednesday afternoon's start of free agency and the dawn of the 2020 new league year.

But the official announcement of a good portion of those moves — including potential deals being made by the Indianapolis Colts — could be delayed for a bit.

The National Football League on Tuesday night sent a memo to teams outlining a list of special rules being put into place in response to the COVID-19/coronovirus health emergency that will effectively limit any player from entering team facilities over the next couple weeks.
