The Colts on Friday ruled out defensive end Samson Ebukam (knee) for their Week 8 game against the Tennessee Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium, head coach Shane Steichen said.

Ebukam did not participate in practice this week after sustaining his injury during the Colts' Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Defensive end Tyquan Lewis (groin) also did not participate in practice this week but was not ruled out on Friday.

Steichen said wide receiver Josh Downs, who sustained a concussion in Week 6 and was inactive for Week 7, had cleared concussion protocol and is "good to go" against the Titans.

Wide receiver Ashton Dulin (chest) and running back Tyler Goodson (groin), who were also sidelined in Week 7, were also not ruled out. Goodson sustained his injury in Week 4 and has missed three consecutive games but was a full participant in practice this week.

The Colts on Wednesday opened cornerback Jaylon Jones' 21-day window to be activated from injured reserve, and Jones was a limited participant in practice this week. The cornerback sustained a hamstring injury in Week 1, reinjuring the same hamstring that he injured during training camp. Jones can be activated off injured reserve at any point between now and Nov. 12.
