Colts rule out CB Jaylon Jones, CB Charvarius Ward Sr. for Week 2 game vs. Denver Broncos

Ward (concussion) did not participate in practice this week.

The Colts on Friday ruled out cornerbacks Jaylon Jones (hamstring) and Charvarius Ward Sr. (concussion) for their Week 2 game against the Denver Broncos at Lucas Oil Stadium, head coach Shane Steichen said.

Ward sustained a concussion during the Colts' Week 1 win over the Miami Dolphins and did not participate in practice this week.

Jones sustained a hamstring injury in Week 1 as well; Steichen said there is no timetable on his return but that Jones will be "out for a while."

Defensive end Laiatu Latu (hamstring) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice and did not practice on Thursday or Friday.
