Colts place LB Joe Bachie on injured reserve

The Colts signed LB Germaine Pratt and placed Bachie on injured reserve Wednesday.

The Colts on Wednesday placed linebacker Joe Bachie on injured reserve and signed linebacker Germaine Pratt to the 53-man roster.

Head coach Shane Steichen earlier Wednesday said the Colts had signed Pratt. Placing Bachie on injured reserve opened a spot on the 53-man roster, then, for Pratt.

Bachie started five games for the Colts this season and totaled 26 tackles with one pass break-up. The six-year veteran has also played for the Philadelphia Eagles (2020) and Cincinnati Bengals (2021-2024). He will miss a minimum of four games while on injured reserve.
