Buckner was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury in Week 10.

The Colts on Wednesday opened the 21-day practice window for defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, who will participate in Wednesday's practice and can now be activated from injured reserve at any point over the next three weeks.

The Colts placed Buckner on injured reserve with a neck injury in Week 10 prior to their game against the Atlanta Falcons. Buckner had to miss at least four games after being placed on injured reserve, and since the Colts had a bye in Week 11, Week 15 is the first week Buckner is eligible to return to practice.

Over nine games this season, Buckner has four sacks, 42 tackles, 13 quarterback hits and nine tackles for a loss.

Prior to this stint on injured reserve, Buckner missed a total of six games in his career due to injury; he was placed on injured reserve last season with an ankle injury and missed five weeks.
