**Ryan Diem Helps Distribute Backpacks and Books
* INDIANAPOLIS - On Monday, November 9, the Indianapolis Colts joined with Cargo Services to help give 40 Indiana foster youth a very special experience. Colts Offensive Tackle Ryan Diem helped distribute backpacks filled with 25 books to each child as a part of the Books for Youth initiative, which was started by the Colts and the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS) in 2006. After the youngsters received their backpack from Diem, they had the opportunity to walk through the Colts in Motion traveling museum, meet Colts Cheerleaders, and enjoy snacks, compliments of Cargo Services.*
Toward the end of the evening, the Colts mascot, Blue, also provided a special performance of his P.R.I.D.E program for the children and their families. This interactive and educational program is typically only done in elementary schools during the season.
