INDIANAPOLIS—The 2014 NFL schedule with dates and times won't be announced for several more months but we do know the Colts opponents for next season.
The Colts went 5-3 away from home in 2013 and are 9-7 away from home over the last two seasons.
Here's an early breakdown of each away opponent and what the offseason could hold for them:
Away
Cleveland Browns (4-12):As of Thursday morning, Jan. 23, the Browns were the last NFL team to have not named a new head coach. Whoever becomes the head coach will take over a team that has six Pro Bowlers and the No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft. This will mark just the second time since the 2003 season that Indianapolis has traveled to Cleveland.
Dallas Cowboys (8-8):For the first time since 2006, the Colts will hit the road to take on the Cowboys. The Cowboys are coming off their third straight 8-8 season and again missed out on the playoffs when they lost a "win-and-get-in" regular season finale.
Denver Broncos (13-3):The reigning AFC Champions will welcome the Colts to Denver for a matchup that could very well fall in primetime. The Colts have won six in a row against the Broncos including an epic road contest during the 2007 season. This contest will be a rematch of a 2012 Week 7 game in which Peyton Manning made his return to Indianapolis.
Houston Texans (2-14)It's now the Bill O'Brien era in Houston as he takes over a talented squad that struggled mightily in 2013. O'Brien and the Texans hold the No. 1 pick. Will the Colts be facing a new rookie quarterback for Houston next year? The Colts ended a three-game losing streak in Houston with an epic comeback during Week 9 of the 2012 regular season.

Jacksonville Jaguars (4-12):The Jaguars turned things around in the second half of the season under first-year head coach Gus Bradley. The Colts two largest victories in the 2012 and 2013 campaigns took place in Jacksonville. The Jaguars hold the No. 3 overall pick in May's Draft. Is a quarterback in line with that pick?
New York Giants (7-9):The Colts played in MetLife Stadium this season during Week Two of the preseason. This year's matchup will be the Colts first regular season road game against the Giants since opening up the 2006 season there.
Pittsburgh Steelers (8-8):Similar to the Giants, the Steelers weren't used to having to watch the postseason this year. Pittsburgh had an outside chance at the No. 6 playoff seed thanks to winning six of their last eight games in 2013. The Colts have played in Pittsburgh just once since 2002, winning a 2008 contest.
Tennessee Titans (7-9):Former Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt has taken over as the Titans head man. Last year, Whisenhunt was the offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers. The Colts have won four of their last five meeting in Nashville.
