Roster Moves: Colts Sign Three To Reserve/Future Contracts

The Indianapolis Colts today announced the signing of three players to reserve/future contracts.

INDIANAPOLIS —The Indianapolis Colts today signed safety Isaiah Johnson, cornerback D.J. Killings and wide receiver Jordan Veasy to reserve/future contracts.

Johnson, 6-1, 210 pounds, has played in 12 career games in his time with the Los Angeles Rams (2016-18) and Detroit Lions (2015) and has tallied five tackles (one solo). He has also seen action in one postseason contest. Johnson was originally signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent on May 7, 2015.

In 2018, Johnson played in Weeks 1-2 with the Rams. He spent time on Los Angeles' active roster and practice squad in 2017 and appeared in one game and made five tackles (one solo). Johnson also appeared in one postseason contest. In 2016, he spent time on the Rams' active roster and practice squad and played in three games. As a rookie in 2015, Johnson spent time on the Lions' active roster and practice squad and played in six games.

Killings, 6-0, 185 pounds, spent the last two weeks of the 2018 season on the Green Bay Packers' practice squad. He also spent time on the Colts' active roster and practice squad in 2018 before being placed on the team's Injured Reserve list on November 20. Killings was waived from the Injured Reserve list on December 10. He was originally signed to the Indianapolis practice squad on October 16. In 2017, Killings spent the final 13 weeks of the regular season and the entire postseason on the Eagles' practice squad. He participated in the New England Patriots' 2017 offseason program and training camp before being waived on September 13. Killings originally signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2017.

Veasy, 6-3, 221 pounds, spent time on the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad in 2018. He participated in the Tennessee Titans' 2018 offseason program and training camp before being waived during final cuts on September 1. Veasy originally signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2018.

Collegiately, Veasy played in 24 games (13 starts) in two seasons (2016-17) at California and tallied 63 receptions for 797 yards and nine touchdowns. In 2015, he caught 63 passes for 1,036 yards and 11 touchdowns in his lone season at Golden West College. Veasy attended Itawamba Community College from 2014-15 but did not play football. In 2013, he played in six games at Faulkner University and registered five catches for 75 yards and three touchdowns.
