NASHVILLE – Jonathan Taylor rushed for three touchdowns – including a spectacular 46-yard, broken tackle-laden dash – and the Colts thumped the Tennessee Titans, 41-20, on Sunday at Nissan Stadium to improve their record to 3-0.
It was the first time the Colts scored more than 40 points in a game since Week 11 of the 2021 season. The Colts have now scored 103 points this season, the most a Colts team has scored in the first three games of a season since 1967.
The Colts improved to 3-0 to begin a season for the first time since 2009.

The Colts quickly jumped on the Titans when cornerback Kenny Moore II hopped in front of a Cam Ward pass intended for running back Tony Pollard on the first third down of the game, snagging and interception and running it back for a 32-yard pick six. It was Moore's fourth pick-six and fifth defensive touchdown of his career.
Jones led the Colts on a pair of scoring drives after Moore's pick six, with several chunk completions to wide receivers Alec Pierce and Josh Downs and tight end Tyler Warren. Running back Jonathan Taylor finished off the Colts' second drive of the game with a one-yard touchdown, his first rushing score of the season.
The Titans were able to connect on two Joey Slye field goals, though their kicker also missed field goals from 62 and 64 yards in the first half. After a 62-yard miss with 37 seconds left in the first half, Jones ripped a pair of completions to wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. to set up a Spencer Shrader 36-yard field goal, which sent the Colts into halftime with a 20-6 lead.
Another notable thing from the first half: Rigoberto Sanchez attempted his first official punt of 2025 early in the second quarter; he hadn't punted in the first nine quarters of the Colts' season.
The Colts quickly struck to open the second half, with Jones and Taylor leading a six-play, 67-yard drive that ended with Jones finding Pittman for a 20-yard touchdown.
Tennessee was able to counter, though, with 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward leading an efficient, in-rhythm 71-yard drive that ended with a Tony Pollard one-yard touchdown.
Taylor then turned in a spectacular effort on a 46-yard touchdown run, breaking several tackles and speeding away from the Titans' defense to put the Colts back up by 21 late in the third quarter.
Ward connected on a fourth-and-goal eight-yard touchdown to wide receiver Elic Ayomanor midway through the fourth quarter to keep the Titans within two possessions.
Wide receiver Adonai Mitchell drew a 37-yard pass interference flag on the Colts' ensuing possession, which set up Taylor punching in his third touchdown of the game.
Taylor finished the afternoon with 102 yards on 17 carries with those three touchdowns. Jones completed 18 of 25 passes for 225 yards with a touchdown and a passer rating of 113.4; he's had a passer rating over 100 in all three games this season, the first time in his career he's had three consecutive games with a passer rating over 100.
Defensive end Tyquan Lewis had two sacks, representing his first game with multiple sacks since Week 8 of the 2020 season.
The Colts' 21-point margin of victory was first double-digit win for either team in this AFC South series since 2020; it was the largest margin of victory for the Colts or Titans against each other since the Colts won, 38-10, in Week 11 of the 2018 season.
